On Fisherman's Wharf which by itself is a lot of fun. You order at the counter and they'll give you a buzzer and you pickup at a window. Seating is at picnic tables with plastic utensils. Soft drinks only but the fish & chips are great!
Great cod and chips, and the famous Barb’s burger was delicious too. Batter super crispy, good size piece of fish, great chips. Queue was a little long - but it’s popular, so to be expected at peak times. Just what we needed after our whale watching tour.
As Brits, we were pleasantly surprised by this decent fish and chips place! I had the halibut and my husband had the cod; both were good, with a light batter, as was the clam chowder. They have a well organised system using “pagers” for receiving your order when it’s busy and it wasn’t hard to find somewhere to sit either.
I'm from England so I've had my fair share of fish and chips and Barb's fish is the best fish I've ever eaten, so good I went back the next day to have it for lunch. The batter is light and crispy and oh so tasty and you can pick the fish up and eat it with your fingers as its big and chunky to hold. Normally I find fish quite greasy deep fried but not the fish from Barb's. Absolutely delicious and I feel that no fish I have will ever match the fish I had at Barb's.

Had the fried clams $13.99 and bowl of seafood chowder for $10. Was nice atmosphere at Wharf. The other fish& chips places near by did not have fried clams so we ate here instead. The fish looked good but fries looked like the frozen variety and not appealing
Tasty fish and chips and good ordering system when busy. Had 2 piece fish dinner for 18 bucks. Couldn’t find the salt though
A good fish and chips place that serves burgers as well. Plenty of sides and appetizer options and a nice setting to enjoy them in. Plenty of outdoor seating at picnic tables, only some are under cover so bring your sunscreen, coat, or umbrella depending on the weather. As a bonus you can grab the pickle boats feet from here to explore the rest of the harbour.
Got the fish and chips and breaded shrimps. They were good... not the best (I've had way better).Shrimp could have been more flavorful.Service was pretty fast though there was a line up.Very touristy area.
Finally Chicken Strips. ? Kids are looking for chicken. They’re done with halibut, salmon or cod.The Seafood chowder is yummy! They have refillable soft drinks too.Just be patient though, ‘coz it has always a long line. Probably will take you 30-40minutes.
