One of our fav fast food spot but until after our encounter with the crew named James who is very rude. Our order was missing one French fries so my wife asked and he replied in a rude way and walk away, i heard this from a far, Its just a matter of one French fries he forgot to punch or should be part meal package we ordered. Very Frustrated the way he treated my wife. He better rest if he is tired rather than ruined someones day. Will not go here again for sure. This guy must not be assigned in front desk or dealing with customer i could say.
The foods were great but I don't appriciate their service. One of the staff shows rude face and attitude and it was such an unpleasant experience in a good day of our family trip in the island. Never going back.
We got dinner here on Saturday evening and I was so impressed with the service we received from the tall male cashier who was helping us around 730 pm. We had some issues with our coupons and he went above and beyond to help us out. Very friendly staff, food was prepared quick and we were treated with care. Will definitely be back!The closer A&W location to where I live is on Esquimalt road, and I have been extremely disappointed with the service at that location on many occasions.From now on, we will always visit the Douglas street location. :)
This has got to be the absolute worst A&w on this island. The service is so ridiculously slow and painful it's like watching paint dry. The food is always given to you cold and the onion rings, for the most part, are just over seasoned with salt. It's absolutely amazing how this particular restaurant on Douglas Street stays in business. Younger people just have no idea how good A&w used to be back in the day. I'm pretty darn positive that I will never be going to get food from that particular location ever again. I don't usually rant like this, but I truly feel that this location needs to be avoided at all cost.
Amazing food !! And spectacular serviceI wanted a customised beyond burger as i was allergic to meat and dairy and their Assistant manager Manpreet made sure that i get a fresh beyond patty with all precautions !!Really liked their staff and service
Not too bad I feel like the English muffins could be more toasted. Just so they have some structure but tasted great I just needed something solid to hold it together.
Coffee was advertised as $1 on menu board however rang up as $1.69. When questioned was told by manager that the promotion had ended and it hadn’t been updated, which is unacceptable by corporate. On part of manager customer service they should have honoured the price advertised.
The order I got was perfect and normally I'd have to give 5 stars for that. However, I'm giving 4 stars because the plant based options should be a permanent addition and not a limited time special because in that case I'm always going to be a limited time customer.
The food came shockingly fast, I got a beyond burger with cheese and it was honestly very tasty. It was moist and flavourful and the cheese left a nice flavour. Less expensive then I was expecting which was a nice touch. Though the fries weren't quite as fresh - still good though. The root beer float was fun and quite tasty!
When we received a few gift cards in the mail we were happy to go for two teen burger meals. Everything was tasty, and we even dined in this time. The place was quiet inside as most people are doing drive through and not dining in these days -even though they are permitted to.
