This is my go-to place for chicken and a beer! I get the same thing every time - the roast chicken dinner. It's always cooked to perfection and is a great price for what you get. The beer is incredibly reasonably priced as well which leads me to have a few more than I should. The servers here are also amazing. On my last visit I was served by someone named Maddie (I think?) and she was kind, attentive, and kept my drinks coming. Thank you Fifth Street!
Wow. Travesty I lived in Vic for 3 years and never went here.Nice and cozy REAL HOMEY NEIGHBOURHOOD JOINT WITH FANTASTIC STICK TO YOUR RIBS AND BEING FOOD. That brick chicken was ?Meghan I think her name was, May 23rd afternoon, was AMAZING. She definitely was a highlight of the experience. We were on a mission to find pizza today and are we ever glad we found 5th st bar and grill.Every single person we had interaction with were beyond amazing!!!The chef working in the kitchen was so kind to my little guy, we got to watch our pizza being made and he even brought us out our ice cream.Whatever is going on in this restaurant, keep it up; when staff are this happy and kind it reflects greatly on the experience. We will definitely be back!!!And thank you to the hostess, it was evident that you're enthusiasm rubbed off on the other staff as well ❤
The atmosphere here was nice, food was good however the service was incredibly disappointing.We reserved a table of 8 for 6:45, we were seated but then waited 40 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. None of the servers would make eye contact with our table and it became a running joke.I get there was a "communication" issue as to who was looking after our small group but someone should've noticed and check the lack of drinks on our table. I've worked in the services industry for many years and this is plain laziness.The chicken was amazing definitely worth checking out, same with the stone oven pizza.Yet again though when it came time to pay the bills we waited another 25 minutes for someone to bring the machine.The restaurant overheard our conversation as we were paying up and offered a $20 voucher however that didn't really make up for the issues and it was only offered as we were walking out the door and already paid.Zero sense of urgency here. I recommend you train the servers a bit better to be more conscious and mindful about the tables rather than standing in a large group at the front chatting away.

Every time I've been to 5th street I've been impressed with the food. I used to always get the chicken corn chowder, which is amazing. But now I'm vegetarian and they have amazing veg options! The 6 cheese pizza and spinach and artichoke dip are my faves. Also the chef does food specials that are amazing.Friendly and fast service, a super fun music bingo night on Thursdays!
I was a bit disappointed with the wings I'd ordered. I got the lemon pepper which I've had in other restaurants. These came with lemon wedges on the side. You had to squeeze the lemon onto the wings for the lemon flavor. There is a lemon/pepper spice available, which I thought they would have. I will go again to this restaurant but won't order the wings.
We went right after restrictions opened up to be able to have more than 6 at a table. We were celebrating my niece's 19th birthday. The food was delicious and the customer service was phenomenal. We had a perfect time for the first time out together post pandemic! Thank you!!
