A nice place to relax and have a nice dinner. The service is top-notch, the waiters are very attentive to your requests. Some items on the menu were not available. On the one hand this is a reason to come back to you again, but on the other hand, maybe people had only one chance to visit your restaurant and try a certain dish. In any case, the evening at your restaurant was wonderful! Thank you ? ?
What an awesome place to hang out and eat good food. The exterior and interior screams chic and posh but the service and the warmth by the staff are anything but. It instantly feels welcoming and inclusive and the servers were so approachable as well. Got the set dinner and went with whatever the server recommended and legit, following their advice was the best choice I ever made after saying no to hardcore drugs.Good intimate vibes, quiet enough to chat, enough white noise to fill out awkward silences and awkward moaning over food, and the service is quick and friendly. Would take all my significant others to this place because the servers seem sharp enough to pretend they don’t know about my other significant others. (It’s a joke I’m joking but not about the food it’s really good)
This one of our favourite spots in Victoria, and eat here virtually every time we're in town. As usual, the menu featured local, seasonal items, and we had a fabulour duck confit salad to start, followed by my mussels and clams, and her chicken supreme. And as usual, it didn't disappoint.
Our friends from Victoria made reservations here for all of us and my husband and I were not impressed and will not come back. The reasons why are for one it was so loud that we couldn't even have a conversation with one another even though we were close enough. The second reason the menu was not very big so had a hard time trying to figure out what I wanted especially when a lot of the stuff on the menu I couldn't have. The third reason was for the price of the meals (if you want to call it that, more like snacks.) there should have been more food! Don't come here if you are really hungry.

We arrived early for our dinner reservation. Upon arrival outside, there was both a line and a walk up for the hostess desk. My son and I got in line as this appeared to be the reservation line. After waiting for 10 minutes, I asked the pair in front if they had checked in and they said no and looked confused. I decided to walk up to the hostess and ask if we should be checking in. As I spoke with her, a male customer in line approached me from behind and started angrily and aggressively accuse me of jumping the line. I tried to tell him that I was clarifying the process but instead of listening he stepped towards me and started getting louder and more aggressive and then loudly told me get back in line. Meanwhile the hostess did absolutely nothing. I am a woman, 5’3” and petite, so obviously felt threatened. I stopped engaging with him and turned to the hostess to confirm that the line was in fact for reservations. She replied “I guess so.” I turned around and went back in line with my son passing the man with his wife and another couple while they laughed. My 15 year old son who was outside heard the man loudly and angrily accusing me. My son suggested that we should go to the hotel across the street for dinner. I said “no let’s stay. It’s fine”. Obviously not a good start to dinner. The hostess finally checked us in 15 minutes after our reservation. I asked her politely not to seat us near the man who yelled at me. She offered no apology and plainly said you’re sitting in another room. We were then seated. No waiter showed up for another 10-12 minutes. We finally ordered and then another waiter arrived asking us for our order again. The hostess who seated us swung by 10 minutes later and asked if we had menus. I told her that we had ordered. Our appetizer arrived promptly but our main took 45 minutes after that. No server checked us during our meal. The waiters appeared to just stand at the server station watching the room. Our food was mediocre and the worst food and service of our trip to Tofino and Victoria and frankly in years. When we finished our meal, I asked for the bill which came promptly, except the waiter didn’t come back with the pay machine. I then had to wait another 15 minutes to finally get a workers attention, the hostess, to ask her to bring the machine so that I could actually pay. All in all, a horrible experience. A few improvements would be worthwhile: Better organization for the reservation queue, there should be three hostesses not just one with two actually seating people, and the servers need some training on caring for your customers. To be aggressively yelled at by another customer when I was making an inquiry on whether I needed to check in in addition to lining up and not having the hostess intervene to stop the man is not acceptable. I should neither have to fend someone off nor ask that I not be seated near an aggressive customer. I should feel safe. Hopefully my experience is not the norm and that the management addresses the service issues. Maybe it was an off day for the food and possibly the service.
Great food, good quality and well prepared. Servers very pleasant. Service was very slow. Music volume was very high and difficult to have a conversation and music selection was not pleasant to listen to.
Always love a farm to table experience and 10 Acres Bistro didn't disappoint. The gnocchi was superb as was our server, Ron. They did run out of desserts but saved the day with a nice Creme Brule. Nice setting in downtown Victoria.
Decided to have my last dinner before departing Victoria at a popular farm to table restaurant, 10 Acres Bistro. I ordered a Caesar salad to start, competent but not exceptional. Then ordered clams and mussels, but was told they only have mussels tonight… Mussels are available in local grocery stores… I waited over an hour for my order, something that should only take a few minutes to make. Again, competent, but not special. I won’t come back. You can get the same food with better service elsewhere in Victoria.
The cocktails are great!! And the fresh onions soup has cheese on it bread in it. The lamb is the best I've ever eaten，very soft and juicy！Delicious oysters and pasta！ Black forest Chocolate cake also ?
