Bit of an awkward start LOL, but very happy with the mango paradise roll & Alaska roll. My other half had a red dragon, beauty & beast roll, and both were very delicious!I was expecting a bit more for beauty and beast as far as flavor goes, but it was enjoyable nonetheless and as it's *our thing*, it was fitting for our sushi date ✨
Omg I'm so happy these guys are open again!! I swear they're even better now then they were before- I didn't even know that was possible. The staff are all really super great too.
Really good and fresh sushi. Probably the second best sushi place I’ve ever been too. The mango paradise was very good with a tiny hint of spice while being a bit sweet with the mango slices, the rainbow rolls were good and my personal favourite was the unagi rolls, Great tasting sauce and the unagi was perfect. If I ever come to Vernon again this place is a must go!
One of the only sushi places open on a Sunday. Very busy with a short wait on a table. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing.
Affordable, delicious, excellent customer service. We had take-out, and my only regret is not discovering this wonderful place sooner.
Good food but often turns off their phone 3+ hours to closing and refuses to take orders when they advertise that they will up to 10 min before closing. Doesn’t matter if you want to close but false advertising makes it difficult.
They are very friendly and have great staff.I just hoping this expansion from them and us waiting a life time to reopen. That they bring back the ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET AGAINI'D EASILY PAY 30+ PER PERSON FOR THAT HELL YEAH I WOULD HAHAHA
We love to get takeout from here often and it’s always reliably delicious! Everyone in the family enjoys it. My favourite is the tofu teriyaki, my kids like the chicken teriyaki and the simple kid-friendly sushi rolls, and my husband loves all things sushi. We are all happy with the selection and flavours!
Sushi Kawa is our favourite place in Vernon. We have been missing their food greatly and can’t wait until they open back up. Best sushi in Vernon.
Ordered take out on a busy night and was told it could be 45 minutes. No issue for me as I know great food is worth the wait. Ended up taking less than 15 minutes. Everything was excellent!
