Ordered for the first time last night. 3 star is too high, but 2 felt too low. Really deserved like 2.5So I ordered 1.5 hours before close. Meaning I knew this wouldn't be the freshest time to order. I accept that.Everything was pretty bland at best. Nothing gross or bad tasting. Just bland. Also no veggie content in the Shanghai noodles, no sauce and like 3 shaved pieces of beef.We had Wonton soup, spring rolls (no sauce), sweet and sour pork, Shanghai noodles and chicken fried rice. Just disappointed for $110.00

Really good place and great service but the food was too hard for me, I got the ginger beef with rice.

Worst Chinese food I have ever had. The noodles are starchy and bland, the pork was dry and chewy, the chop suey was ok but the veggies a bit overcooked. Oh, & $3 for spring rolls that looked and tasted like they came from frozen no name! Never going back.

Have been dining here since the 70s Just had the worst meal ever ...the noodles were better in barkerville on the last day of season lack of response from staff employees was nonexistent won't be back

Yuck!!First ( and LAST ) time ordering from this place. Where do I start:- error made on a very small order- chicken used in chicken balls and chicken fried rice was DISGUSTING.- steamed vegetables were beyond hope- limp and mushy- fried rice lacked vegetables and anything good- spring rolls filled wish a tasteless mush and no veggies at allConsistent lack of quality in anything we ordered tonight.Never again. Yuck.

$40.00 for two dishes (take out) Special chow mein mostly noodles with a few prawns, a few pea pods, onions, a few small pieces ;of chicken, etc. Second dish was almond chicken -ok but certainly not enough for 3 or 4 people. No value for $40.00.

I used to come here a lot as a child and had good memories of it, so visited again today. Wow, time has not been kind. I ordered a lunch combo for one with chow mein, almond chicken and beef chop suey. None of it had any flavour at all, the food was only luke-warm and was even cold in some places, and everything was coated in what seemed like clear gelatin rather than sauce. Never in my life have I gone to a Chinese food restaurant before and felt the need to salt my food. The noodles were mushy. The vegetables were mushy. The chicken was dry. I’m not sure any of the ingredients have ever even heard fairy tales about seasoning. I could barely eat any of it and it cost me thirty dollars for the meal and a flat, watered down fountain Pepsi. I’m never going here again, and you should probably try someplace else, too. On the plus side, the waitress was friendly and attentive. I’m sorry, nice waitress. The food was unforgivably bad.

No more smorgasbord but, for the same price I get more than I would have eaten if it were still going. Good food, quick service.

Service was great, very friendly and accommodating staff. The service was also very fast. A decent amount of food for the price. I ordered the Mushroom Chow mein for 15.95 and it will last my at least 4 decent sized meals. I ordered sweet and sour sauce on the side and it was delicious. I highly recommend going out and trying it at least once with your family!

Tasteless, cold, mushy food. Everything was coated with what seemed like clear gelatin instead of sauce. Soda was flat and watered down. I couldn’t finish my meal it was so horrible, and it cost me 30.00. Waitress was nice, though.
