One star for sitting us quickly, but after 20 minutes and more than enough staff to handle the two big tables in the restaurant no one came to see us - even to let us know that they were busy and would be with us in a few minutes. I get it, I used to serve but after 20 minutes and multiple staff and manager walking by our table, we walked.
Nice pub with a good ambience. Just had yam fries and a glass of Cedar Creek chardonnay, but the fries were as good as I've had anyplace.
We are local to Vernon and have visited Browns many times over the last 5 years. Called for a meal with my daughter after work last night, the restaurant was absolutely packed out, clearly in contravention of covid occupancy rules. Both me an my daughter are double vaccinated and obviously willing to show that, yet the confrontational manager on duty thought he had the right to ask for and inspect medical exemption information for my 13 year old daughter as she is exempt due to mental health reasons from wearing a mask. He reduced her to tears in front of a queue of strangers. Highly unprofessional. Clearly this manager puts profit in front of customer relations. We will not return. It’s a shame Jared has had to resort to employing this individual as he will do his business no good at all in the long run.
What a great atmosphere for an evening meal out! A terrrefic menu and excellent staff make this an enjoyable time away from the kitchen. The Hollywood Burger is great!
Fantastic service and food. Tired of feeling rushed at some restaurants. Love the idea of first come first serve. Loved our service and veggie burger and friend had one the bowls.
I had been to the Kelowna location before and didn't have a great experience, so I was a bit skeptical about going to another Brown's again. However, this time was miles better. While being absolutely packed they still managed to get us in very quickly and take care of our table promptly. Food was good, and my allergy was taken seriously (unlike at the Kelowna location). Very friendly staff and very fast service. I would drive to Vernon and go again any time
This used to be one of my favorite places, after awhile we went back today because all sushi places where closed and we knew they have some rolls.Long story short the dishes where changed to the worst, the service was nice but very slow even though it was emty! I ask for no jalapeños and seaweed which was ignored and the price is not worth the experience anymore.
Lovely service and atmosphere. We cane here several times because the food in great, specially the ramen, it’s a must try.
I rarely eat a burger, but when I do it's definitely the Hollywood burger here. The ambiance is high energy or low-key depending on the day and time. Staff always pleasant and cheerful in a way that suggests this is a great place to work.
There for dinner Oct 3/21, service and food were both very good and worth the price. Glad they follow covid protocol so everyone felt safe.
