This restaurant is one of the best hot pot restaurants I have been to in Vancouver. Staffs here are welcome and friendly. Even though the coconut chicken hot pot here is not the tastest one on my list, but very close to and is super delicious, and highly recommended. The meat and veggies here are fresh and the broth is super tasty. I come here pretty often and definitely will recommend it to my friends.
A great hot pot spot.Staff here are attentive and friendly. Ordering is easy thanks to the iPads they bring to each table. Cleanliness was very good. The food here is fantastic. The mushroom soup base I ordered was super rich and flavorful without being overly salty. The sauce bar has everything you could want to dip your by meat and vegetables in. Speaking of, the lamb and squid here are not to be missed, both were delicious. The hand pulled noodles have a perfect texture and were a great way to end the meal. Considering how high quality the ingredients were, and the free fruit, tea, and sauces this is well worth the price.
Good food but the service is questionable especially the manager lady. Given the fact that a curly hair was found in one dish, it took the manager more than 30 mins to come to the table and the manager took away the dish without any apology or explanation. When we tried to talk to her, she said they would give 10% off for us but then only applied 10% off on one of the dishes instead of the entire bill??? This manager appeared to be very rude to customers. The food was good, I liked it but the store owner should be aware that they need professional staff to fit in this brand.
Fantastic hotpot! Quality ingredients and 5 star service. Creative soups like the coconut and Tom yum Kung. Service was intuitive and attentive. Seafood fried rice was delicious. Ask for the Chinese donut to be deep fried.
Do you like hot pot? YuShang Hot Pot is another popular place. Upon entering, the oriental interior design will catch your attention. The walls are nicely decorated too. I liked their fresh meats and presentation. There are disposable gloves at the sauce bar and lots of selections and flavors to make your perfect sauce. The price isn't cheap but the service is very good. It's worth the try, especially for a small group. You won't be disappointed.
The greatest hotpot place in Vancouver I've ever been! We had a nice room reserved for 8 people (there is a minimum payment for a large group reserving a room). Variety choices of soup base was very good and ordering from iPad was a great experience as well. The service was absolutely great! We all satisfied with the quality of food and many selection of sauces. Definitely will come back again.
Very clean restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great. I love the fact that you can order individual soups and you can order it off of an iPad.
Surprised my business partner invited us for dinner at the Yu Shang Hot Pot , the place very modern and creative concept love the entrance door , they been in business since 2018 , beautiful ambiance , lot of good reviews from TripAdvisor , you have your own hot pot broth , variety food to choose from ( Almost like Marbie House Eatery in Burnaby ) good quality not too much MSG ! the sliced beef , lamb and chicken nicely sliced , girlfriend love the chicken and all those fresh vegs , like watercress , spinach , Enoki mushroom , for my flavour dishes is the fresh handmade dumplings and meat ball ,fish ball , Wow ! the best I had in a hot pot restaurants , lot of hot pot place is 99% is frozen , we had 8 people in a private room , very big tablet and spacious , services also the best I seen in a Asian Chinese restaurant , excellent professional service , not a single dirty dishes on the tablet , not a cheap or AYCE hot pot place , it is premium of premium ! worth every penny !
Good service, good quality items - the tomato broth isn't the best in town but the spicy and fish gelatin are flavourful. One of my top 5 hot pot places in Vancouver. One thing I hate about this location though is the $10 parking.
Wow, I love hotpot and I have claimed that no such thing as bad hotpot. I guess I was wrong of having that thought . I’m very surprised by the quality of the food Yu Shang offers. First of all meat products are not very fresh, you can simply tell by the color of the beef. Sadly we order the premium beef slices, it was very disappointed! Crystal noodles and tofu skins are both low quality products, they share an unnatural chewy texture. Not mentioning the tripes, it doesn’t matter how many sec you cook it for, they chew like rubber.Yes the interior looking of the store is pretty and all that, but the food quality is so meh… I get the idea that they want to be an fancy hotpot store and charge premium for dishes. Yu Shang, please ensure you have premium food before charging premium prices! Definitely not recommend for hotpot lovers, it has nothing compare to Dollar Shop! Don’t waste your money!
