We decided to try this place because I wanted to try something that was different instead of always heading to Chosun. What would be different? What does Yook have?I decided on an appetizer and tried their deep fried dumplings. I found it different and would have wished for a boiled version as well, but yeah, it was good. My wife ordered the beef bulgogi and I had some of it. A bit dry on the top pieces and I wished for more sweet soy to soak it up to go with my rice. I ordered the sweet soy pork belly and it was good, but I have to say that I have a sweet tooth and I like my sauces sweet.I'd still come again to eat here

Came here with my family on a Sunday hoping to have dinner. The server asked if I had a reservation and when I said no, she laughed in my face. I asked why she laughed and she said because you didnt make a reservation and i said I am asking you nicely if you can accommodate us. A simple no would have been more acceptable instead of offending us with an insult. We were not forcing them to accommodate us, we were simply checking if they had we can get in. If not, we would just leave without saying anything and would probably try going back another time. But the staff laughing in my face for not calling ahead is simply not acceptable. I usually support small businesses but the behavior of their staff is disgusting and they shouldnt treat paying customers that way. If i can leave zero stars i would.

I visited Yook a few weeks ago and WOW, so so so so delicious. Each dish had so much flavor, the spicy pork belly was very tender and a great portion for the price. I have had seafood pancake at other restaurants and it has been uncooked or too much dough. This was the perfect green onion seafood pancake, the dough was soooo crunchy and the fillings so fresh, HUGE portion and the hot plate it comes on keeps it hot for the entire meal. I ate the leftovers cold the next day and it was great that way as well .Our server was kind and helpful , I will for sure be back 5/5!

Yook, neighborhood Korean restaurant. Good service good food. The gamjatang taste very good. Will recommend.

Very good food and service

Beautiful, clean interior with lots of plants. The food is delicious and prices are reasonable (under $15 for most hot pot & rice bowls). It gets crowded in the weekends so good to go earlier in the week.

I love the ambiance of their restaurant and their dishes are just amazing. I do wish they serve more variety of side dishes but besides that, I will definitely come back to try more of their menu. We ordered makguksu, plain samgyupsal, and bulgogi. The servers are also very kind.

Came here a few weeks back with a few friends. Really good experience here. Had the dumplings, pork belly, spicy chicken, and short ribs stew. Great flavours! Can't wait to come back!

First time here and had a good experience. The kimchi soup was a bit spicy for my taste buds. The rice cake with beef and spicy pork was delicious. The spicy pork wasn't that spicy, not sure if it was because we asked the server how spicy is the pork.

Really appreciate the restaurant for accommodating my dietary restrictions. The food was delicious and I look forward to visiting again. The kimchi here was great and soju makes everything better.
