Mother's Day, we wanted to celebrate with some good fish n chips with our son.WOW Good doesn't come near to what we recieved and ate. We each chose 2 piece cod dinner. The pieces were large and succulent, thick portions of fish in a delicious light crispy batter. Lovely slaw and amazing chips. The Calamari was perfect and the staff was a delight.We highly recommend that you try this place!batter.
I was dissapointed by the French Fries, but the fish was fresh and delicious. They certainly should be giving more coleslaw. The ladies were lovely.I would have liked to see it busier. I think people forget about this place.If they did fresh fries, they could easily raise the prices by $5, and fill the place up.
First time trying this spot and was excited due to the great reviews claiming to be a 'British Original' in the fish and chip game. Our group felt there was excessive batter on the fish thus creating an unnecessary greasier product. Too heavy on the batter! Don't get me wrong, it is okay for a meal but felt I needed extra vinegar to enjoy which isn't very British at all. I've been to ?? UK ?? and Windjammer's fish's and chips is not original in taste and nor can we call it British but rather plain Jane from the Mainland. :0PS: Give the onion rings two thumbs up!3 stars all the way.

15 years I’ve been in Canada trying places offering “proper” British fish and chips, nothing else had come anywhere near until today. Real chips (malt vinegar!), good batter, generous portions. Still don’t understand why chippies here do coleslaw though.

Really good fish and chips! Daily special was 3 piece cod and chips for 10.99! Wow! That's the best price in town! It was delicious too! Place is kept impeccably clean and the server is the nicest person you will ever meet!
Good fish.The fries are nothing special and the coleslaw is vinegar-based, but the fish is the important part.Also they have yam fries, I totally forgot to try those!
