I am new to Vietnamese food and was happy to see vegetarian options. The lady at the counter was so kind to inform me that some of those options had oyster sauce. I was able to pick the options that didn't and she offered to sub noodles for rice in one of the options. The food was excellent (yum veggie spring rolls and fried tofu!) and I really hope they make the oyster sauce optional in more dishes because I'd love to try more. Really nice people and great food.
Six months later and I came back again because I've been dreaming about those sandwiches. I'm only here two days and I ate here twice. They are still Perfection.
Fast and Friendly service!!I ordered Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi and Lemongrass Pork Banh Mi, both were delicious!!I definitely enjoyed The Lemongrass Pork more!!Definitely coming back for more!!
Overall pretty decent experience. I ended up getting the rare beef + beef ball pho while my friend got the veggie sub with deep fried tofu. The food tasted pretty good - the pho was very hearty and rich while the sandwich tasted really nice. Only things we could nitpick is that the noodles seemed a bit smaller than what I’m used to, and sauce was a must for the sandwich otherwise it would have been a bit dry. But overall, great dining experience, excellent restaurant quality and the waitresses were really nice to us. Plus who could say no their great prices! Need to try more of their banh mi next time we come back. Would recommend!Appearance: 2/2Taste: 4/5Texture: 1/2Quantity/Quality: 2/3Cleanliness: 2/2Atmosphere: 2/3Staff: 3/3Total: 16/20 = 4/5
Great service each time I was there - 5/5 even though there was once the kitchen actually forgot to include an ingredient in my noodles. I didn't manage to catch her name but one of the staff who seems to work on weekends is pretty exceptional. Food-wise, their homemade chilli oil (in the spice rack which the staff bring to each table) packs a suitable punch and brings back wonderful memories of my evenings slurping noodles doused in fiery chilli paste by roadside stalls and night markets in South East Asia. Take note that there is no public washroom here, however.
Both the Pho (and bun bo hue) and the Bahn Mi are absolutely solid
Awesome cozy restaurant for hearty Vietnamese food; we ordered delivery and was impressed with the quality of the stir fry and rice so decided to come back to dine in. Their pho and Bahn Mi were delicious. A must try!
Best pho in town! AND THE SUBS ARE PHENOMENAL! Amazing veggie options too! I got the veggie pho with beef broth and it was the best I’ve had! And the tofu sub is amazing!!! Never going to another place again :)
My go to place for Vietnamese food in Vancouver. I go to Viet Sub with my partner at least once a week. The food is always great and staff is super friendly. I genuinely love this place so much.
I get their banh mi regularly, truly delicious. Beef stew noodles is 10/10 also!
