Viet House looks like a local, family owned small Vietnamese restaurant.✅ Food to price value is good and you’ll get enough delicious food for what you pay.? The atmosphere is nice and small and you’ll like some Vietnamese elements on the walls.?♀️ The staff is somehow nice and know the menu sufficiently.Recommendations:* Calamari (for sure get it) $13.5* Rice Noodle Roll $5.5* Coconut Curry (if you like curry & coconut together?) $15* Seafood Fried Rice $15* Red Wine Beef Stew $17? House special fried noodle was not good and the noodle tasted like being in a broth and didn’t taste good.Viet House is worth trying!?Enjoy!
Unwanted ingredients.Onion peel & White hair..Food taste was good I couldn’t stop eating even I saw these..Bad customer service. The server literally said“ya, it’s from onion. The menu included onion”.By the way, I ordered ‘Lemongrass chicken vermicelli’ I don’t think there was onion in.Anyhow, No apologize til the end.and do you even eat the ‘Peel’ ?!?? Lol
Fish in coconut curry with rice was pretty good
Nice decor with a warm family feel. Good variety in the menu from sandwiches, soups, fried noodles, and rice dishes. Started with the calamari. Lightly battered, crispy and tender. Very nice. All my dishes had subtle delicate flavours. Reminds me of home style cooking. The house special beef noodle soup was especially good with generous amounts of beef. I would come backDrop me a comment or a like, if you found this helpful.
had a great experience having the red wine beef stew pho! they told me it was new on the menu. i couldn't have been more satisfied. so much attention to detail in preparation and flavour. you have to try it! no, i'm not paid to say this, i just came in randomly wanting a warm bowl of pho one night. never heard of red wine beef stew pho and it was too interesting to pass. you won't be disappointed.
We ordered takeout and picked it up. We shared 3 dishes. The Viet House Steamed Bao, Vermicelli with Lemongrass and the Beef Stew Red Wine Pho. The Pho was the weakest of the three as there was simply not enough beef and flavor. The chicken was good. The Bao had the most flavors.
Yato loved the incredibly fast service, portion sizes, super friendly service, and amazing flavours! 10/10 will be coming again. Yato approved!
This is a nice little Vietnamese restaurant on Cambie with good food. The service was quick, clean and the host was polite. My favourite part was the beautiful pot of jasmine tea that they served. All in all a great place to have a quick bite.
Lemongrass chicken, green tea
Had such a great experience here! Friendly service and delicious food. The pho was one of the best I’ve had, super fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend Viet House, will definitely be bringing my friends here from now on!
