Ordered delivery from Vera’s and it was the worst! Paid $60 for the burgers with sub yam fries and onion rings. Those were ok but the burgers were bad! No lettuce/tomato.. ordered the BBQ and it only had a bunch of mayo, 3 banana peppers and 3 onions. I could have gone to McDonald’s and the angus would be way better: never going/ordering again.
Another awesome drop-in on Commercial Drive, a neighbourhood I quickly am growing to love. Here, I'm like kind of listening to bathhouse music while a charismatic and interesting mustached hipster in overalls is serving burgers, all while some other dude is sitting, reading a book, Olympics hockey is on the multiple screens and I can fill my belly full of deep-fried jalapenos and many Coke Zeros. We had a veggie burger and the daily special, which was a BBQ burger, both excellent. Totally awesome vibe in here - I'd be back in a heartbeat if I just wanted a burger, beer, and a chill place to scarf it all down.
Constantly cancels Uber Eats orders. The orders that do come are subpar. I tried 3 times and two orders were cancelled and the 3rd was so unappetizing that we threw it out. Never again.
Since mid 2019, their service & products, have greatly suffered,-' They are unable to compensate for the loss of their drink machine-- Burger patties are not cooked properly.-- Fries, are mot much better.Was our favorite place to go.Now: A&W is better !
Really awesome service, fantastic atmosphere and they have an on tap bar. If there was one thing that's been missing from the other Vera's I have visited, is definitely a bar!Owner is also very laid back and an awesome dude. Will definitely be coming back if I ever come out this way

I didn't expect this. But I'm happy. The burgers are great. Best poutine on The Drive. And the onion rings are excellent. A trifecta!
Great food but no atmosphere. So-so commercial rock played too loud and sports on tv. I've never seen this place even half full, which is odd considering its location.
The service was really cool and very tasty burger and also great music. Very recommend
