Had the Greek burger was absolutely amazing would highly recommend!!
Your UBC store is too hot, at least 10C hotter than outside. The gentleman working there was too kind to still defend you.But you should solve that problem right away. If it is not solved in the future, I am going to make a formal complain.
Stay away!!! Very unfortunate to have a great place like Vera burger being improperly ran. The guy at the front was not wearing gloves while prparing my burger. The Grease seems very old which make the fries terribly wrong.the poor guy at the front does not seem to be well informed either. I feel like there not open all the time I guess we may be on the last days of Vera's burger in UBC
STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. This is not the same as the other Vera’s. The service took so long, there was no sauce on my burger, the toppings were also wrong. Only one guy working on a weekend. I saw two customers order a beer and he didn’t pour it for them, when they went up to the counter to ask for it he poured them and left them sitting on the counter. He also forgot to give me my drink. Two burgers and onion rings costs $45.. really. Me and my gf couldn’t even finish it cause the burgers tasted like it had gone bad. The cups they give you for fountain drinks are like the size of water cups from subway. I could go on but you get the idea. Terrible.
Way over priced burger for what you get. Definitely not a gourmet burger and not worth the cost. This UBC Vera's does not match the expected quality from their downtown location. Bun was soggy. Patty very burnt. Condiments didn't taste fresh. Fries soggy. Could smell burnt oil the whole time they were cooking. Awful experience when anticipating a great burger eating experience. Ordered large onion rings and received 6 rings only. Milkshake was lumpy. Spent over $85 for three and feel totally ripped off, especially when compared against the alternatives. Expect they will be going out of business soon as it never seems busy. Know why now. Will never go back again. Complete disappointment and would recommend to stay far far away.

It’s was the worst burger and fries I have ever eaten. The bun was soggy, the patty was grisly, the lettuce was wilted. The fries were burnt in old oil. I had to gag the whole concoction down because I was hungry. The whole restaurant smelled of old grease, that should have been a clue to take a pass. Stay away.
Food was decent.Would have probably been a 4-5 if I didn't witness the following by the one person working there:- Touching raw burger patties with bare hands and then touching other things WITHOUT washing hands- wore a stained, old, baggy hoodie(no rolled up sleeves) to prepare food (yes the clothes touched the bread + meat- used bare hands to "wipe" counter tops and insisted that they didn't need to be cleaned cause the food wouldn't technically touch the counter top (since it would be on the paper wrapper) and proceded to touch the inside of the paper wrapper with unwashed hands as mentioned above.- floors & tables visibly not swept/wiped
Bad. Very slow at serving and mediocre burgers.. Wouldn't recommend.
Only thing I tried was the chocolate milkshake. Was disappointed with the size, price, and texture and the time it took to make it. If you are going to get it make sure to ask for it well blended or get a spoon.
