Refused to serve us more than one pitcher, but continued to serve others. No reason given. Odd..... Won't be coming back...
Uncle Abe's is the perfect patio spot for some drinks and food. The customer service is excellent, drinks are cheap and there are a variety of options for food. My favorite is the pizza place beside it, try a slice or their ribs and garlic bread.
I have now tried the chicken shawarma and the shawarma fries, and both were delicious as well as a generous portion size. The staff on both sides (the bar and restaurant) are friendly and attentive. Also, I love that they are dog friendly!
Oue favourite bar un town 100%. Love the vibe, love the drinks offer, love the staff and also great prices, plus you can get food from other places and still hang out here. This is like our bar to go in Van, always.
Best spicy margaritas in town! I think they called it the Thai or chilli margarita! Come for happy hour and they are only $8 for a 2oz and it's so good.

Great place, super friendly server called Braden, or maybe it was Brendan, who serves well. I find other places on Main try too hard, Uncle Abe's just seems to be happy being what it is.

Love the atmosphere at Uncle Abes and the drinks are very tasty. It's got *elevated* dive bar feels. I couldn't drink on the night I visited and the server was kind enough to make me a delicious mule mocktail and didn't charge much for it at all. Their outdoor seating is also very nice and heated.
The 80’s playlist tonight was fan-flamin-tastic!Always have the best time at Abes. Love the tampered with artwork on the walls.
