I had been desperately looking for Thai boat noodles in Vancouver before I discovered this spot. The flavours of their boat noodle soup was so vibrant and balanced. Truly a sublime bowl of noodles. Their crispy deep fried wings while not as flavourful as Phnom Penh’s, they are well prepared and tasty. Can’t wait to eat my way throughout the menu.
Very busy with limited seating having just returned. You need to order and pay at the register before sitting. The smell of the cooking is divine, since the seats are adjacent to the kitchen. Most people grab takeout rather than dine in. Our food was served in takeout containers even though we dined in, but I'm not sure if that was due to their recent return to dine in service or because we sat down late in the evening. They've got a great menu selection that has more unique dishes than some other Thai places, such as the Pad Ki Mao dishes, which use a chewy, clear, and wider rice sheet noodle that has a great bounce on the teeth.
I have been searching for a great Thai restaurant for a while and finally I found it.I enjoyed every single bites of the food. The boat noodles was so unique and flavourful! It brought me back to Thailand immediately. They have limited seats inside of restaurant, but they do have a lot of take out orders.
THE BEST PAD SEE EW IN VANCOUVER!!!No joke these noodles are the thickest most delicious noodles I've ever tasted, and I've tried alot of different Thai restaurants. These by far beat all the rest. Only doing take out now since the pandemic, but that doesn't matter as the beach isn't far away so just take it down to the beach to enjoy it :)
Best Thai food in Vancouver. When they took a month off to go see family and closed shop, I nearly died from withdrawals. Eat here if you want some authentic Thai flavor and quality eats.
Food itself has somewhat of authentic thai taste, however its quite salty here. About 15~20% saltier than other restaurants.Price : Portion ratio needs improvements. To be specific, you are paying roughly 25$ on avg per dish here. Each dishes are for one person portion. Ingredients wise, thai food should be affordable.Ive paid roughly 84 dollars(2 main dishes and a side) and barely fed three people. Was the food great? Not great but good. Salty. Were we full and satisfied? Absolutely not. Will I eat from here again?Questionable.
Love getting take out here. Best Thai I’ve had in the city, plus they have unique dishes you don’t see on most menus. Service is fairly fast. Quality is consistent. Flavours are packed with savoury, umami, sour, spicy goodness. Textures are on point with perfectly cooked noodles, crunchy toppings, and refreshing bites from the veggies.Try the boat noodles and glass noodle dishes. They’re so good, I get them every time.
My host suggested that we have Thai dinner on Saturday and he ordered take out over the phone He picked up Roti with curry with Pad si ew for himself and I chose Gang Kua (chicken). Very tasty and enjoyable. He saved my leftover sauce as well for dipping the day after! Dinner cost was $43.05 before tip
Nice little place, not widely known but food is full of flavor and packs a real punch. More spicy and more legit, great for quick takeouts, highly recommend if you need your snack attack satisfied!
My favorite place to go for pad see yew. Their noodles are a bit different than what typical Thai restaurant would use. A bit more chew but super delicious! Would recommend this to everyone.
