Just came here on May 1st and ordered our two flat whites around 1210/1215pm and after 15/20+ minutes of waiting and everyone getting their coffees who ordered after us we asked for a refund. We had a our 1 year old with us and we were in a hurry after waiting so long as our daughter had to have her diaper changed. We asked for the refund and while they were kind enough to still offer to make us the coffee and refund or offer a pastry the unprofessionalism of the cashier girl is what upset us the most. With her leaning over the counter while trying to figure out the refund and not able to perform one in a timely manner, it looked like an employee who was either off the clock or not working that day had to go behind the counter to try and show the cashier how to refund. The refund process itself was also taking a long time and eventually we got so frustrated we left without the refund so we could change our daughters diaper the cost was around $8 and we had tipped $2.
This coffee shop has been around as long as I can remember going to the Drive. They have developed a great sense of community can't tell you about the coffee, I only drink tea. I love the chai latte
Consistently very good coffee. Great staff. I was warned to avoid the baked goods, but the breakfast sandwich, normally something I'd avoid even without a warning, was pretty tasty and exactly what our unplanned hangovers were asking for.
I came for the stove top (hot cream in espresso) . Worth the trip, and one of akind.
Who doesn’t like coffee? This place is the bomb. It’s famous for a reason. Certificates of training all over the wall. Certificates of accomplishment all over the wall. certified barista’s. Sophisticated machinery. Good coffee. Groovy little spot. If you can sit outside on a nice day. You have one of the nicest patios on commercial Drive. If you’re looking for an upscale coffee. This place won’t disappoint. On any normal day. Don’t expect to find a seat right away. This place is busy.
Been coming here for years and enjoy the coffee quite a bit. They don't have anywhere to pour an overfilled cup. I also didn't see a compost bin next to the garbage can for the customers.
Second tastiest tea in town, absolutely wonderful staff. <3 pretty much my main go-to.(I shoulda lied and said they're terrible so I can keep it to myself....damn)
Great coffee and friendly staff. Power Outlets and seating are a bit limited, so if you’re coming to study or work it is a little hit and miss.Seating is appropriate for the size of the shop.

Honestly, the coffee isn't bad. But garbage cans are full, condiments counter is dirty and needs cleaning, no sticks to stir your coffee with and most importantly despite asking for some room in your coffee cup you still get a full cup and you have nowhere to spill it into. So I stood there trying to suck up coffee to create room for cream and guess what, the coffee is extremely hot. All in all, good coffee but it comes with hassle.
