Tried Todak Todak the other day and place didn't disappoint. We ordered take out. Place is small with limited seating. We ordered half and half original and Spicy, kimchi Fried Rice and fries. Everything was delicious. Fries was coated in spice, was a nice surprise. Kimchi Fried rice was OK actually, not enough Kimchi and a bit too soggy for my taste. I like fry rice that's a bit drier. But all in all, nice place and we'll order some of the other chicken flavors plus fries on out next visit.
My youngest daughter recommended this Korean chicken restaurant to me and it's so amazing. They have great service and selections. It was her first time trying the corn with cheese and she loved it. We also love the cheese pork cutlet, the chicken was so delicious and also the spicy rice cakes.
Awesome food and great service…definitely recommend going here if you are in the mood for some fried chicken. They have quite a few special flavors.
I used to love this place and came often for to-go. Today I decided to dine in and it let me down so much. As you can see, the portion of cuisines are so much less than before. And butter garlic potato was not as big and crispy as before. But the price of butter garlic potato has gone up(over $10). And I ordered half onion creamy chicken and half spicy chicken. Onion was so little and the amount of onion served was only enough for 3 pieces of chicken. And when I asked for extra onion, the staff said it is additional $3?... The name of the chicken was ONION creamy chicken and it is more expensive than regular chicken because of onion and cream, but how come the slices of onion are served so little? I could not finish my chicken due to the shortage of onion, I asked for to go box and came home.
Great chicken, hot fresh with good flavourful sauces. Solid classic. Would come again. Spicy cheese rice cakes were tasty too. Thank you.
Very good and very flavorful chicken. The chicken is juicy and melts in your mouth, fried to perfection. I did find their basic fried chicken a bit bland but they 100% make up for it with the multiple other options they have. I highly recommend the creamy onion sauce and honey garlic butter boneless chicken. The dining room is small but has a nice atmosphere. The music isn't out of character for the establishment and is quiet enough to hold a conversation comfortably. The prices are rather high but you definitely get your money's worth as the dishes are big enough for 2 people to share. Staff we're friendly but you do have to flag them down if you need any help or want a water refill. Overall, this Korean fried chicken restaurant is a fantastic place to fill your stomach with greasy chickeny goodness in a small restaurant seemingly often overlooked.
Overprice for boneless chickenI paid 35$ for thisTaste nothing outstandingOld oil smellradish taste like they marinate in ginger's marinate waterNever againIf you are big fan of fried chicken B.B.Q lougheed is the best !
Omg sooo goodHidden gem !!Nothing beats this in the areaEven for the price ,it’s definitely worth the higher quality ingredientsEverything we ordered was so yummy and made with loveI will definitely come back :)
The chicken is good. Would 100% recommend the chicken. The service however is absolutely terrible and that's what the one star is. We had to ask for water multiple times. And then we asked a refill on our sides but apparently you are only allowed one refill but the Korean table next to us kept getting like refills of their sides many more times. The server also kept ignoring us after that and kept talking to the Korean table next to us. Absolutely dispicable and pure discrimination by the employees. Horrible experience. I would get takeout but I don't want to support a business that utterly rejects their customers.
Best Korean fried chicken I've ever had. Tastes great, chicken is juicy, and there are plenty of flavours to choose from. My personal favourites are the onion creamy and sweet chilli flavours.Service is also great and the price is reasonable (~$20/person if you go with others). 10/10 would recommend.
