Cafe Hunt [Day 2]: I heard lots of great things about Timbertain and it’s also rated as one of the best coffee spots in Vancouver. And all holds true. The espresso was chocolatey and bold but not too strong or too acidic. The almond croissant was fresh, with a crunchy exterior and soft, butter, almond crème field interior. Ambience was chill, music was guitar and bass instrumental. Overall, had a great experience and would recommend!
Love it here - one of my fave coffee shops in the city. Cute decor, friendly service (once saw a single barista blast though the longest line up so efficiently it was like magic, honestly), and quite literally the best vegan cookie I’ve ever had. Very cute cups if you have your coffee there as well. Highly recommend.
Looking for new coffee shops, I decided to try timbertrain and it didn’t disappoint, this is a really good lattes.. my gf loved it as well, we went really early in the morning and it wasnt busy at all we ordered and got our coffe right away, the baristas know what they doing and they’re really nice!! I’d definitely be coming back!
Great coffee and cookies unfortunately this place is home to people who come with there laptop computer. 4 tables with one person per table with an empty cup they’ll reorder I’m 2 hrs. Tall guy behind counter seems nice shouts a lot. Doesn’t understand the word discretion. Otherwise nice place?
I love the coffee here. The profile of espresso is really interesting. They are great roasters
This place Always on point ! Flatwhite with oat milk is a bomb. Best one so far in the downtown. The creamy texture with the flavourful coffee bean tastes works together really well. Highly recommended. Only downside was you can only dine in 45mins top since it is small cafe.
Most importend: The kind and friendly Baristas and of course the very good Coffee! The full-bodied espresso and the Flatwhite (custom made) where just fine!
The hygiene here is awful. Flies all over the store. I have killed more than five of them within five minutes. Some fell into my cinnamon roll, and one of them contaminated my coffee when they serve it.The staff decided to neglect the fact and insisted to serve that coffee. The service was another nightmare. The staff was rude and unfriendly. He was passive to introduce his coffee. He selectively ignored customers. He actually deserves no tips. I just dun understand why he’s hired. Timbertrain shall hire better people to keep up their standards.Originally I was there to purchase their Christmas coffee blend… the experience was just too discouraging for me to do so.
Best latte in the city! And their yummy almond croissant is huge. Must visit coffee place if you are around ?
Had a decaf flat white with almond croissant there and I loved it. The coffee tasted great, barista did a flawless job preparing my drink and the pastry was amazing.
