Absolutely loved this place! The ambience, the seating ( they got both indoors and outdoors). Staff was really sweet!They got everything you expect coffee, amazing deserts, liqueur chocolate and everything is delicious ? Today I had tiramisu which looks so bougie and was absolutely yum, its light and not extremely sweet. I also had few macaroons. I loved Calamansi one , it hits sweet spot with little zing. Definitely would recommend! ?
This place is a gem amongst some very unpolished and mundane chain coffee shops and cafes - we went back repeatedly in order to sample their pastries and Viennoiserie - the Almond Croissant is to die for and better than any consumed in France. My only negative would be the counter service is slow and cumbersome when busy
If you like desserts this is definitely the place to be. The chocolates are amazing but my absolute favorite is the chocolate marquise and the lemon tart. They are hands down the best I ever had.
alberni store supervisor is having the worst customer service attitude ever !! cutting customer phone call without any reasons and i need to hear his BS for like 15mins before i can ask when is the deadline for me to order a Bday Cake for Saturday night pickup ! WTF is going on as i feel like both cake and service is getting worse and worse where is the high quality service that use to be here ??? crazy !!!??
They are so nice here. I went by with my little dog Maisie hoping to tie her up outside and quickly pop in for a coffee to go. One of their staff Joanna, was wiping tables and was so excited to see us and offered to watch Maisie while I popped in to order and then ran in to grab my coffee when it was ready. Maisie loved her.Also my Pistachio Oat Milk Latte was probably the best coffee I’ve ever had.My new favourite downtown coffee go to!

The hand soap was watered down quite a bit which is not good.Accessibility - ramp going up to main door.
This place is really good and fancy. People here were nice and gentle. They have a vast variety of desserts. Coffee was good and the atmosphere feels really classy. Prices are accessible and the location is exceptional. They also have an outside terrace which I think is good if weather is okay and you visit them with your pet.
It was a typical rainy day in Vancouver downtown and we were soaked and somehow craving for sweets.Found this cafe in the quiet street of Alberni with a full house even out on the patio under the rain. We knew we gotta give it a try.Got their last chocolate cake, snatched a lemon pudding cake and got myself a pistachio hot chocolate.Had to hit the gym later for about three hours just to balance all the guilty sweetness.
Right at the door was warmly greeted by staff. Great service! The cafe was busy but we were able to reserve a seat on the heated patio.The passion fruit cake was extremely flavorful. The passion fruit jelly really kicks your tastebuds. The choux a la crème was much more enjoyable for me. Nice creamy vanilla bean flavors very satisfying. The chai latte I had was good as well. The cafe was consistently busying throughout my evening there, definitely a popular spot for delicious pastries and coffee.
