Food is sub par. Our server literally turned around while we were talking mid sentence.Overall, this place is coasting hard on its location. I’m sure it’s nice for a beer or something but it’s not hard to provide halfway decent service.It also seems like they are comfortable with their below average service since most of their patrons are people living in the apartments and seniors living centres nearby.Lastly, don’t brother replying to this review with a snarky response like you’ve done with so many others. Service is as simple as being present and offering a smile. None of which were present during my experience. I’ll be back to walk around the beautiful area… but I’ll save my appetite for somewhere more deserving.
Great food and even better Guinness. The best pint in Vancouver hands down. Good atmosphere and convenient location overlooking the Marina. Would recommend!

Hosted a friend’s Baby Shower in their party room and had a blast! The server went above and beyond, great food and delicious summer cocktails. Will definitely be planning more gatherings at this pub!
It was very busy but we could get a seat, food took very long time to come and there was initially an order mix up so by the time the food came it was a bit cold. My food was supposed to come with regular fries and when I asked the server who brought the food said it was right. The second server (who took the order) mentioned that the regular fries were finished so they replaced it with sweet potato fries lol it was fine, by that time we were very hungry and just wanted to eat but I wouldn't say it's an amazing food. Staff was nice, the environment good.
My partner and I really value customer service, unfortunately this place didn’t bring that to us. The older lady who was serving us kept walking away mid sentence every time we asked for something, even while ordering our food! We noticed that she spent time at other tables except for us, so I’m not sure if it’s a race issue. The food was pretty delicious. I ordered the tropical chicken burger but it only had 2 pieces of mango salsa on it, had to ask for more. Regardless of the low points of this experience, the view makes up for everything.
If you’re looking for a nice pub with a nice view, The Wicklow is the place! They have really good beers, and on happy hour the draft beer was $5. The best part is, the patio is pet friendly!! Great staff and good menu, with vegetarian options.
Probably the best patio in Vancouver, sun trap for absorbing that winter/spring heat when it's diabolical elsewhere. The service is terrific, such a friendly attentive bunch. Food is fantastic and the beer is well kept. Quiet good dogs allowed too. I love this place so so much.
Great service, nice view from the patio and average fries. Would go back for a drink on the patio.
Don't be fooled by the name, this is a very nice pub. If you happen to have a dog, they will accept it, as long as you sit on the patio. They serve delicious food and drinks and the view from the patio is beautiful
