long waits... mediocre service, expensive drinks and lack lustre food menu.
What an awesome spot! The staff were super friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was amazing. I had to wait 2.5 hours to get a spot at the bar, but it was well worth it! The food was very tasty, I had the pulled pork sliders. The staff were also great about making me fun non alcoholic beverages! They were some of the coolest cocktails I've ever had!
There’s no dessert, but don’t despair, ALL the drinks will distract and delight you!! The Shameful Tiki room serves the best hand shaken drinks over perfectly smashed ice. Complemented with fresh juices, fancy rum, and delicious garnishes, these drinks won’t disappoint. And neither will the food, especially if you’re a fan of pork. I ended up with the pupu platter because I could not decide. The staff are extremely charismatic and helpful and the ambiance… incredibly surprising. Make sure to make a reservation, because this place fills up fast.
Place was great, service was quick.Drinks may seem weak but they do pack a punch.Do not be fooled by the colorful essence of the drinks they will all get you to the next level.I definitely suggest getting a bowl to start the night off.
Locals place on main Street with a low key storefront. If you are not careful you almost miss it. It's very popular place and can be hard to get a table.Inside is very dark and has a tiki/survivor/tropical island decor.You come here for the drinks. They are all crazy colorful and extremely garnished. They have varying levels and can range from juicy to boozey. My girlfriend and I tried a variety of them, one of them was garnished with a back scratcher. Another which we didn't have they hit a gong as the drink is delivered. Think, rum, coconut , Mai Tai, Hawaii 5-0 drinks.The food is not Polynesian. It is more pub/casual style. Wings, dumpling, tacos, sliders is what we had. It's classic. Nothing earth shattering but good.It's a fun atmosphere and is good with friends. Service is good and the price point is $$-$$$.Would go back with a group of friends.
The truest escapism to times gone by filled with the best decor and drinks, but above all, the staff are fantastic humans and this is my home away from home that I drive an hour and a half to frequent.
Definitely quite a unique bar experience! From the tropic decorations to the fog machine, lights and music to simulate a volcano it's creates a great atmosphere. I had the jungle bird drink- nothing too special however the addition of the pineapple pieces and sugar cherry were delicious and they for sure don't lay low on the alcohol! Food wise we had the nachos (which were excellent) and the BBQ wings. After spending over 2 hours at the bar, the music of the volcano and the fog machine and flashing lights every 15-20mins got a bit annoiying.

Such a fun experience! We've wanted to come here for a little while and finally booked reservations for mid week. It is a really fun atmosphere and the drinks are super fun and very tasty. I was surprised that the food was so good. It really was! I don't know why I was surprised. I guess I just figured the atmosphere and drinks would be what it was known for, but the food was also prepared really well, interesting, and very tasty.
