I and my shadow went to Sea house Fish and Chips in early May 2022The fish is so fresh and the price is also very reasonable. This 3 pcs of big fish and homemade fried cost only $ 11.95 This price is hard to come by in this inflation situation. We plan to come monthly because we don't live in Vancouver. They accept cash only. That's why they can offer just a low price.The point of sale systems will make the cost of food rise. I admire mother of store owner she is 90 years old and she cooks fish for us perfectly done.She is inspired me.Definitely we will be their regular customers
Got the dinner special. Truly good value as it comes with good clam chowder, fish was juicy and lightly battered and unsalted fries and coleslaw. Love the chowder as it's not crazy salty like other places and I like how the fries are unsalted. Downside is, I wish they put in their menu specifically type of fish it was (Basa). And wish the fries were homemade. Overall, would go back again because their fish was indeed done very well and price is great value. Doesn't seem like they reuse the oil so much that makes the food taste bitter, so well done. Would go back and try the halibut instead
I have driven past this place so many times and only recently brought myself to try it. Ngl it looks pretty dead from the outside but it’s truly a hidden gem! It’s a family owned business too. Service wasn’t amazing but the taste and value makes up for it.2 piece fish Special Value Meals $9.95Comes with coleslaw and choice of soup or pop. The chowder surprisingly was decent with lots of clam pieces. The fish pieces were on the smaller side but the meat was juicy and the batter was thin and not too oily, very solid. Fries and coleslaw were standard. 10/10 have to get again!

Food was great: Cheap, fast and filling. And I'm not kidding on cheap; most affordable chip shop I've found so far in Vancouver and I've been around. I highly recommend this place if your ever driving by Kingsway and want something light on the wallet and filling on the stomach.It's also nice to see that the flavor hasn't changed since I was a kid and the prices are very affordable.
Fish is delightfully crispy! (with both pieces devoured within 2 minutes)Although some may prefer that extra crunch, the batter is light & thumbs up for me. The fries are decent & not as crispy, being in the supporting role, but quite filling with all that potato. Even with the increase in price, which is very fair, solid deal on the dinner for two! (of course I was hoping for the family pack, not being too heavy on clam chowder, but the other half had eyes on that)To maintain that freshness, make sure you get home FAST! 2 piece of 'cod' fish & chips combo with coleslaw for 9.95 & 1 piece for $7.25 Includes choice of chowder soup or drink What a deal !The thinly battered cod filets was very moist. Chowder soup was very tasty and the coleslaw was good. The only downfall was the french fries were bland and not much flavor! The lady servers were polite and good service. Thus restaurant is CASH only.*Keep in mind this is an old school restaurant so don't expect fancy seating.
What value for money! Not many places left like this in such an expensive city. Their fries are way better than MacDonalds.

I was super impressed by this place and almost cried for the quality and price. How can this be so cheap but tasty?? The combo is less than $7 and it includes fish, chips, seafood chowder soup, coleslaw, mayo sauce, ketchup. And one of the staff approached to me and asked how the food is. I can see that they are so caring of customers. Everything was great, but the greatest one was seafood soup. I was really craving for a cream soup, and I was fully satisfied with this soup. The French fries were ordinary though. The black coffee was instant one but it was only $1.5, so I likes it. I will visit again for sure !!!
