I went for brunch and the service was horrible. I did stop going to this place in the past due to this particular bartender/server. Seems if she doesn't like you then you are not welcomed, very discriminatory. I ordered the Beagle breakfast and it was not good. The eggs were overcooked, and I ordered extra items to the meal, the chorizo sausage for extra price. It was half a sausage. I didn't tip when I paid, explaining to the server it was due to the poor meal. As I was walking out she called out to me so the whole establishment can hear- was it the meal and not the service the reason why you didn't tip? Everyone looked at me and it was extremely embarassing. I expect good measures of hospitality and just good food and drink. Not to be mocked in public for not tipping. I think I might have made her mad when I asked her to clean our table because it was dirty when we first sat down. She didn't do that well either. I used to enjoy the Beagle, from the first time my friend introduced me to the place in 2010. And through the dark days of COVID restrictions I kept returning in response to support local businesses in our neighborhood. But I can't support ignorance and bad behaviour. And lack of hospitality and good manners.

Seated right away, nachos were the best I've had in a restaurant however the place was way too loud
I enjoyed my crispy chicken burger with fries and peppercorn gravy. It was different and tasty. Room is big and they have some really friendly staff. Will go again.

I sat for 10 mins my tacos got cold not one person came over to check on us so I finally stood up and asked the waitress for the hot sauce. She finally came over and brought it and said “ I completely forgot, next time don’t stand up without a mask” Save your money and go somewhere else.

Spent my birthday here after another bar was closed.We did plan to leave, but I asked to go back to "The Beagle"I was then surprised when they closed the bar down with a litteral "song and dance" with all staff and customers joining.Best birthday ever.

Great spot in the heart of kits, staff are unbelievable and the food is just outstanding. I go every week :)
Great atmosphere. I had the Fried Chicken Burger, and salt and pepper wings. The wings were great, as were the fries; the burger was ok... the fried chicken was very fried.. maybe older oil?(shrug). The server was nice, but somewhat distracted.Bathroom was clean, mild graffiti, was out of hand soap.Overall, a positive experience.Enjoyed rating your restaurant!Please take any criticism as constructively as you can.Keep up the great work. ?
