I had a terrible experience. I made a reservation for 8pm last Saturday. I had to wait 20 minutes even with a reservation and to make matters worse we had to flag down servers to figure out what was happening. It turns out they double booked our table. Then they moved us to a "private party area." Two minutes after everyone got their food except for me, this guy tells us since we don't have tickets to this private event we have to move downstairs. We explained our server seated us here due to the double booking and he said he would talk to our server, luckily he never came back. By the time all my friends were done eating, I finally got my food after flagging down two servers to ask about my order. Overall, a terrible experience and they seem to be very disorganized. People come here for cheap wings and beer, if you're fine with getting no service and still having to tip then come here, otherwise, there are better pubs downtown.Edit: The manager reached out to me to fix what happened, which I really appreciate, but I declined the offer.
Nice place to watch the game, have some drinks and eat their amazing chicken wings.BTW, we accidentally paid more and the waitress (sorry, couldn’t get her name) ran after us for a couple of blocks to return the money. An example of honesty. We’ll definitely coming back for more wings and pints!
A nice bartender but wow so slow on service. Had to go up to get a drink after some wait time.Pretty dark downstairs! Maybe to light it up a bit! Yes?BUT the beer price was pretty good for Van! And a Blue Hawaiian was not over priced either! Was there leading up to a comedy show at 8 pm last night, but was in at 6:15 so no reason to be understaffed at dinner time.
I worked with the staff to coordinate a surprise birthday party for my husband. From the first point of contact until we left the customer service was exceptional. Emma in particular went above and beyond to make the day flawless. I highly recommend The Pint and we will be happily returning for any sporting event nights! Thank you so much!
Used to be my go-to place before a Canucks game but service is so bad now that I will find another place to go. Did not get half of what we ordered. Ended up going up to the bar myself to grab a round of beers because our order with the waitress never came. It took a minimum of 40 minutes to get anything which is not conducive to having a bite and a drink before having to leave for the game. The only way to place an order was to wave down the waitress frantically as she was walking by. Could tell that all the table in my section were having the same problem.
We went to the Pint for St. Patrick’s day! everything was great except when the bill came I saw how the waitress put in the tip amount herself…I didn’t make a fuss as it was a very busy night but I obviously did not appreciate it. Perhaps something to discuss with the team..
Came here before the Canucks game with a larger group with little time before the puck drop. The food and drinks came out fast and we were able to get the bill right away which was nice being in the scenerio we were in. The chicken burger I had was kind of dry though and was just ok overall.
Door bouncer Staff are friendly. Had issues with the bartenders being selective to serve except for one gent who always made himself available and was friendly (downstairs bar - Friday night)Spacious location - two floors different music.
It was good food. Boneless wings were chopped up tenders. I like tenders more anyway. But we asked the server for more water and she goes "I'll try, I will, but they don't like pouring waters"... Waitress gets 5 star, the pub itself get a a 3 for not pouring waters on a $60 tab
Bartenders are rad. Thanks for the great service ?
