If you have ever lived in Toronto you will know the taste of a good Jamaican Patty. These are decent version for the west coast. The beef curry was spicy and had nice flavor. Spinach and cheese also worth the price.The chicken was mild and underwhelming. The service was quick and pleasant. The price was as expected. There is definitely a difference between Toronto style/flavor and the West coast flavor. I will be sure to stop in again to try their other varieties. They offer patties frozen as well and at a discount.Parking out front was convenient for a grab and go snack.
It's a good patty, but I wouldn't qualify them as Jamaican patties. The filling is generous, the curry by far my favorite. But the taste isn't what I expected and the dough lacked the turmeric which gives it the iconic yellow colour. Friendly staff, orders come out quick and hot. The search for an authentic Jamaican patty in Vancouver, continues.
Sorry Vancouver..these aren't Jamaican beef patties..That doesn't mean they aren't tasty pies .. because they are definitely worth the trouble of getting there.
This is a highly efficient establishment. I've never been to a restaurant with more kitchen space than customer space that wasn't the most bomb takeout. You can order it as any solid state, cooked or frozen. Take home a couple patties for the night time and get electrified by the powerful Caribbean aphrodisiacs

Highly recommend their curry beef patty if you are a spice lover. The staff said this place has been open since 40 years. Pretty impressive and glad it survived the current pandemic thanks to everyone who supported local business.
I've been going to the Patty Shop for more than 25 years and it's always good! The flavours of their patties are so delicious and comforting. We always keep frozen ones in our freezer too, for when we need a quick and easy dinner. The Patty Shop is the best!!
These aren't authentic Jamaican Patties. They are however just meat pastries. It lacks the flavour and look of what a Jamaican Patty is like. It's a pale yellow pastry (supposed to be a bright yellow from turmeric), and the meat is also a pale beef color, supposed to be a dark brown. The beef patties are bland. It has some semblance of a Patty, but it tastes watered down... I think most of the people reviewing haven't had a real Jamaican Patty experience.

Sooo good, whether you get the Patty's fresh and hot or buy some frozen for convenient healthy snack/dinner. You will not go wrong!
