This is a very popular restaurant in the Gastown area. There's a reason for that. The food and the service are outstanding. Gluten free options were great. It's a huge place so the wait time to get a table is minimal, but would recommend a reservation for dinner. Highly recommend.
We stopped here for lunch and managed to get a seat on the patio. Good choice of food on the menu and we both opted for the seafood pasta which was very tasty and filling. Washed down with a couple of pints of Molson we spent a very pleasant couple of hours over lunch. Service was good without being intrusive. Would recommend
Dined here for lunch on the recommendation of our tour bus driver on the hop on hop off tour. % she wasn't wrong. Menu was perfectly balanced and was easy to find something for everyone. Meal serving size was very large, and we found that we ordered so much that we didn't need dinner that night. Would highly recommend this place.
We arrived in the late afternoon with our Air Canada flight from Europe, and were looking for a quick bite to eat. Just a spaghetti or so, we thought. But this was great! All pasta was nice, good sized portions. As a surprise to us, Europeans: free water! Very friendly staff and quick service! They work so very hard here!
the food was excellent, the price was good and the staff were friendly. what more could you want?
We went here for lunch one day and had to go back again. Nice lunch menu at very good prices especially at afternoon happy hours. Bam bam shrimp a favourite and two dozen steamed mussels for $9.00. The service was also excellent. One of our " finds " in Vancouver.
Absolutely the best. So enjoyable
First time at the Old Spaghetti Factory and it’s now one of my favourite restaurants. We got a table in the cable car after 2 mins wait time on a busy Sunday and had an amazing experience. Our waitress Nancy was very nice. Hands down, great food and even better price!
What a great place for a traditional Italian meal. Food was very reasonably priced, service was excellent, and the menu was varied and delicious. Very casual and family friendly. We dined there on the recommendation of a friend and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Portions were more than ample. Visit them and enjoy!!!!
We reserved here because we wanted an ‘ordinary’ meal, we’d been away from home for 3+ weeks and eaten in lots of good restaurants and we were a bit bored. The restaurant was BUSY (it was a Monday night and everyone was a bit surprised, I think). However, we waited for ony a few moments before being led to our table in the trolley that is a feature of the huge dining room. Service was fine – to be honest, it was a little slow, but it was obvious that staff were working really hard and they repeatedly apologised for any delay – and we weren’t in a rush. I started with the chowder which was surprisingly good. My partner had spaghetti and meatballs. She said the meatballs were a little dense, but that the flavour was good. I had the lasagne, which was piping hot and very tasty. Overall, it was a great meal. Thank you!
