I’m just wondering is the experience always like this or it was a one off! First of all, you open the door and the musty odor knocks you out! Then you walk into the narrow bar which I could see has the potential to be a really cool speak easy, but all the used nasty glasses on the tables, disorganized bar and bartender made me have second thoughts…we decided to sit at the bar but zero acknowledgement from the bartender and after a few minutes, not so friendly person took our orders which took a while, and only one of the two drinks were served and the guy started checking his phone for like 5 minutes, so we asked about the other drink, he pointed to the half full glass a seat away from us and said “this is the drink, we dont have clean glasses and that’s why it’s half” - “the Red Narrow” cocktail which supposedly is served in a small glass, was served in a not so clean whiskey glass - Now cherry on the top : as we are trying to stay positive about the experience, a small roach fell from the ceiling right beside my drink that I had to toss away! Which realizing how indifferent the bar guy was, I didnt even bother telling him!By far, the worst bar experience in Vancouver and wayyyy overpriced for what you get!
Good food and happy hour have a good deal on well made cocktails (doubles!). Food was surprisingly good and the atmosphere was a counterintuitive mix of classy and casual without a stain of pretentiousness.Worth checking out!
Great hole in the wall. Looking for something off the beaten path? Find your way into this narrow for some cool drinks.
Very cool atmosphere. Love coming here for a beer with a friend. Also a nice date spot. Dates might not always be good but at least the narrow is cool. Great spot for bathroom selfies too
waited to get in on friday night. mexi food tocos, nachos, burritos were delicious. bartenders are friendly. music,a little bit lower volume i prefer, eh full of people were talking loud cause music was high so naturally people have to talk loud.
Tucked away just off Main, this little basement hideaway instantly became a neighborhood favorite for me. Quirky decor, friendly staff, great drinks and food, the Narrow Lounge hits all the right notes. Just make sure you look for the red light!
Great cocktails, love the low key entrance, place is kinda small (a group of 6 behind us in line didn't bother waiting on the weekend, no way they were getting 6 seats)
Stumbled upon this sneaky gem on a Saturday night. My fave cocktail was Death by Daq. Food is proper portions for a fair price. Atmosphere ? same with staff/servíce.
An amazing happy hour and super fun atmosphere. Really enjoyed the music here too. The only downside was that it seemed a bit short staffed. After the first round of drinks it was pretty difficult to get more service simply due to the volume of customers vs staff. The staff were clearly doing their best to keep up. Overall a good time and will go back.
This place is so cool - I love that it's hidden as I've never heard of or seen this place before. The dark, dingy vibe is great, will definitely go again!
