This establishment has gone down in quality since the last time I visited in the fall. As shown in photos, quantity and quality of lobster has decreased significantly. When I shared my concerns to staff they took the meal away to remake and complained loudly to each other behind the counter about having to remake the meal. Staff member stated this is because every portion is measured out to “100g” to guarantee equal quantity between meals which seems like a very unfair up charge. I used to recommend this place to everyone I knew who was visiting Granville however I will no longer do so and will not be returning.

Paid $25 for my lobster roll with barely much lobster meat in it. And even that, all the meat I got is lobster claw meat. Regret every penny. I saw some pictures in other peoples review, and it’s nothing like mine, feel like fake advertisement, or maybe I was unlucky. If you can’t do the service consistently, maybe don’t do it.

We are craving for lobster at Granville Island and we went to tried the lobster roll here.We got the Connecticut lobster roll which Atlantic lobster, brioche bun with butter. The lobster is average but we love the brioche bun! It’s like melting in your mouth with the delicious brioche. It costs $24.99 which is worth for a lobster sandwich. Overall, we find the bun more delicious than the lobster ?One star deducted because overall it’s an average experience. No indoor sitting. I went to the public market to finish the roll.

So fresh and so good ! Great service as well !

What a great meal! Prices are reasonable considering how much meat they put into the rolls. We got both the lobster and crab rolls. It’s nicely toasted and dressed, compliments the sweetness of the meat. Love the outdoor seating but not a fan of it being so close to other businesses where they smoke cigarettes nearby. Parking available near the ferry docks and walking over.

Finally had some free time to visit Granville island. The lobster rolls were calling my name.Ordered the Signature & Connecticut lobster rolls. I've had many a lobster roll than I care to admit, some good and some horrendously bad, these were towards the positive end of the spectrum.Large chunks of lobster meat with a nice natural taste not covered by fillings and herbs. Brioche bun fresh and soft. As per the photos, very generous with the lobster, lucky me!!No indoor sitting, will need to eat in small outdoor seating area, be careful of the lurking seagulls, they will wait patiently for any leftovers if any, felt bad and threw them some of my chips which they gladly snatched out of the air.Minus 1 star for no indoor seatingMy lobster craving was vey well satisfied

We must have walked past here many times but today we stopped. We picked the right moment as there are only three tables with seats outside, and soon after we arrived there was a line up. The lobster roll was excellent and very good value for money. That's a lot of lobster for under $20.

If you’re looking for a delicious, fresh and traditional lobster roll, don’t miss stopping by The Lobster Man on Granville Island. The staff were friendly and helpful, my sandwich was made freshly upon order, the brioche roll was soft and delicious, the lobster meat was incredibly fresh, tender and perfectly cooked and I already can’t wait to return for another one!

My wife and grandson stopped in for a lobster roll and to see all the live crab, lobster and other seafood. The lobster roll was pretty good.

I'm super happy that lobster man is finally selling grab and go food!
