AMAZING curried goat and jerk chicken! Literally still craving it constantly a day after. Went there for the first time yesterday with my best friend and had the best time. The owner was working alone so we had to wait a bit but it was definitely worth the wait. Everyone else in the cafe was friendly and chatted us up. Highly highly recommend

Been there with my gf the first time today. Really enjoyed Junko's company ?? We never tried Jamaican food and they were DELICIOUS and the portion was HUGE, the place is cozy and super comfortable! Will definitely go back and try more dishes! ❤️❤️❤️
Hole in the wall Caribbean restaurant that will leave your taste buds satisfied.The jerk chicken was extremely tender and flavourful, and the cornbread was tasty, moist, and comforting. Some of the rice was a bit clumpy and cold, but it might have been because we went in the middle of the afternoon.Friendly owners, although it might be understaffed so I’m sure they’ll appreciate a bit of patience on arrival!
Fantastic food, excellent service, and an all around wonderful experience. Absolutely loved their chicken + beef patties (best I’ve had in Vancouver), and everything else we tried on their menu was delicious (curry goat + jerk chicken sandwich). This place is truly a gem!
a super cozy restaurant with great food and fair prices! when we were there it was just one person running the whole operation, and she was so kind and hardworking despite having a stressful time. i will definitely be coming back again! :)
Awesome breakfast (all day), Jerk Chicken, Cornbread & so much more! Been going for 10+ years. We got it today & had a winter picnic :)
Excellent customer service; was given complimentary patties for Christmas. Was even so nice to send well wishes for my friend! Food was a large portion size and delicious! Great pricing to
I was expecting to have a good food and experience like the reviews are talking about. But the only lady there was EXTREMELY NOT HAPPY when we came. She asked “where did you even found out about our place?!!” She was SO MAD that customers came and wanted to eat. Then she’s completely upset ranting about how hard her life, running the restaurant by herself and taking care of her family, then was mad at Google because apparently people found her via google. It was not a mild ranting you know, like she was really2 extremely mad ? apparently she forgot everybody has their own struggles.When I asked about her recommendation (since I’ve never had Jamaican food), she WAS UPSET like crazy. Then she said “you can go if you don’t like me, i will always be like this. You cannot imagine how hard it is to be me!”We tried to cheer her up and keep ordering the food. She was still so mad while cooking and grumpy all the time.Well. ??♀️ I guess i will never coming back since she’s not happy to have a guest.
Actual Caribbean food in Vancouver! Run by a lovely spiritual couple. They have Ting, and cheffed up the Curry goat for us. Amazing portion sizes. Try the curry chicken patty! Thank you.
