My wife and I literally drive all the way from Seattle to get baked goods from here. Last time we visited we got some donuts. We literally CRIED they were so good... It's been a decade since we had a flour donut and this was better than my memory of that.Each time we go, I load up on rosemary chocolate chip cookies. My wife likes the pastries. And we usually also grab a few savory items, like dairy free pizza. And also 2 or 3 other sweets that we order for pick up... And 2 or 3 things we get at the counter once we arrive. Worth it!We only wish they could expand to Seattle!
This is not simply a "good gluten free bakery". This is just a great bakery that happens to be gluten free!In my opinion these are the best GF doughnuts in the city and trust me I have tried them all. I like the traditional doughnuts but the baked ones are good as well. I also really like the pizza and love that there is always a meat, veggie and vegan option. I also really love the breakfast sandwiches! Really nice to grab one and then get a coffee to go with it at matchstick next door.
I wish I could review this establishment with a higher rating. Unfortunately every time I visit it, the vibe is non-welcoming and unfriendly. The saddest part is, the staff reactions to others is contrastingly different.They have good sweets, but I’ve had to go visit different bakeries/stores to satisfy my sugar cravings as I cannot overlook the atmosphere here.
Good products and very beautiful bakery. Great service. There is a parking in the street near the place ( 2 hours parking) .
Amazing gluten free bakery! So happy to find they have expanded next door and it is now a bit more wheelchair accessible. Still a steep bump to get in the door but not at an angle like previously! This place is dangerous for those who desire awesome gluten free baking!
BEST dairy - free & GF bakery I have ever been too! They have amazing baked goods and great lunches, including one of the best vegan/gf pizzas I have ever had! ?
One of my favourite places to spend money! Incredible food & wonderful service, always! Super tasty so you don’t feel as sad being celiac plus tons of dairy free and vegan options too. My whole family raves about the different things they’ve tried and they’re all gluten-eaters. 10/10 would recommend.
This is hands down my FAVOURITE gluten free bakery! It also accommodates for vegan dietary restrictions too, which is amazing. Most places I’ve googled would either have GF or VG and rarely both. But The Gluten Free Epicurean does. Also make sure you check out their daily specials to the left of the door. Hands down the best gluten free bakery in the city and probably the world. I brought cookie mix to Toronto and my non-Celiac family said they were the best cookies they've ever had. Not just the best gluten-free cookies they've ever had, but the best cookies they've ever had. I was travelling another time and chose to fill one whole bag with their pies instead of travel essentials. Please, please, please write a cookbook.
My fav place! I can't go here without buying multiple items. Everything is so delicious, and not dry at all.My favourites are Boston cream bun, croissant, cookies.
