Absolute stellar staff at this place. We wanted to grab a quick beer and burger on our nightly motorcycle ride and I'm super happy we ended up here, the food and drinks were delicious! There were some drunk belligerent Karens at the table next to my partner and I, calling the poor server names (completely unnecessary as she was doing a great job) and acting like complete fools. I almost died of second hand embarrassment it was that bad. The manager handled it with complete professionalism, I couldn't believe how well he kept his composure. People in the service industry put up with so many terrible customers and they really deserve more respect. Cheers guys, we will be back !!
I had such great time when I came here for the first time. Even tho the food was bland, the server was very nice and welcoming. We went here for the 2nd time today. They served us all our food, but forgot the utensils. Literally had to ask for it. The server today was rude as well! She was giving us some stuff while facing sideways. She was asking the other tables how was the food? But never checked on ours. Just gave us the machine for our bill. Idk what’s up with her, we just wanted to eat. Why give us an attitude? We had to ask for to go boxes because we were not in the mood to eat. Thank you server for ruining our day and birthday celebration.
Ordered a veggie burger with fries. A bit on the spicy side for me. I couldn't eat it all. Either then that. Customer service was great. At least next time I can say not spicy.
cheap food, CHEAP drinks, very attentive service and a classic commercial drive atmosphere. great place to stop off on your way home from the skytrain station for a quick pint, but if you're with a squad its the kind of place you can linger a while too. the kitchen is slow af even if the place is dead.
Uber Eats not so Über.Ordered the crispy chicken burger and a steak burger with a side of poutine. The burgers were quite tasty, with tender, juicy meat. The regular fries came in crispy (despite packaging typically notorious for greasy, soggy fries). However, the poutine is the saddest I've seen in these past two years of COVID-inspired delivery orders.Pretty sure there were only 4 pitiful little curds in my entire stack of mushy crinkle fries.Oh well. The rest of the good was decent, so it's still a good value! I might recommend tossing the fries into the oven on broil for 3 minutes to revive them from their harrowing journey.
I visited the dime whilst holidays in Vancouver, from the east coast with a bunch of friends and work colleagues. Yes, the bartenders were outstanding at they’re job at making high class cocktails in a timely matter but the most incredibly memorable part of our experiment was our server, Brittany. A young outgoing professional with the ability to completely understand us whilst creating an atmosphere that we found impossible to leave. She was fun, smart, timely, efficient and accommodating. 10/10 would recommend this place.
It's a place where I'm satisfied with the reasonable price, delicious food, alcohol, and good music.
Tasty food, friendly staff and affordable beer. Strong recommend if you are looking for fun and are not willing to spend that much ?
Our server, Elle, did an amazing job. She checked up on us regularly, made sure we had everything we needed, and provided awesome drink recommendations. Tasty, affordable food and great drinks. I highly recommend coming here.
Not the classiest place in town - but good enough for the prices.I wasn't impressed when I waited almost an hour inside the restaurant for the waitress and then another 20 minutes or so for my food order.I also wasn't too impressed looking in the kitchen because it looked so small and cramped. I can only imagine how hard it is to work in it and to keep it clean.Hopefully it's clean enough that there's no health infractions. No - it will never be as clean as my kitchen because my kitchen will be spotless and super clean - but I'm hoping that such a cramped kitchen doesn't make the job of cleaning it so hard that it's overlooked.
