Thu have freshly made Marshmallows!! If you have never had fresh marshmallows before. This is a must try! It’s not overly sweet, the citrus fell passion fruit perfectly balanced the sugar. The texture is so bouncy (hard to describe) it is not cheap compared to the typical store bought ones. But It’s definitely worth it!
Totally agree with the 5 star reviews. We tried their croissant, double-baked croissant, tiramisu, country loaf, and was happily surprised to see that they have brioche loafs.Everything is of top-notch quality and super tasty. My wife had to go back the next day and got some more tiramisu!I made French toast using the brioche loaf and it turned out to be amazing.
Their bread and pastry selection is amazing. We ordered the morning bun and kouign amann. Both were terrific and very flaky. Not too sweet and just trying right size. The coffee was OK. Not our favorite roast, but that’s alright.
Amazing bakery, had some chocolate filled pastry's that were to die for. Also picked up a loaf of Lavender, Apricot, Walnut bread that was delicious as well. Highly recommended. I will be returning.
The caramelized onion bread is soooo good for sandwiches or even on its own. You can get it sliced as well. Everything here is delicious, you really can't go wrong. The passionfruit cake is the best in town.

Checked out The Bench Bakehouse for their hot-chocolate festival items. Tried both if them:The Strawberry hot-chocolate which was paired with a Strawberry Chocolate Polar Bear Claw. The drink was delicious with a very slight hint of berry. It had a piece of chocolate dipped cake ( i am not sure if it was actually brownie) on top.For alternative milk they offer oat milk which gives you that silky texture. It was tasty. The pastry was real buttery and flaky. Again the berry taste not over powering.The other drink, White hot chocolate with cardamon and orange blossom was topped with marshmallow. It was too sweet for my liking but hubby enjoyed it.This is paired with a Baklava pastry. It was amazing.We also got tempted and got their double baked Apple croissant. It was divine; as if you were having apple pie and croissant at the same time. I highly recommend it.
I was super excited to have the passion fruit cake and hoping that I could replace the typical mango cake from T&T that my extended family ridiculously buys for everybody’s birthday. While it was a good price, I didn’t like it with coconut flakes. Something about the mousse texture of the passion fruit part combined with the rough chewiness of dried coconut is really displeasing. It is probably better without the coconut.
