Used to love this place. Haven’t been there for a year and I got highly disappointed. Spring roll in combo is made with 95% of rice vermicelli. The pad Thai was dry, even a pad Thai from Walmart would have been more tasty. Curries are still good !
This is one of my favourite Thai restaurants in Vancouver. The food is always great and their prices are reasonable. My go to meal is usually the massaman curry with chicken. It's cooked to perfection and the meat is so tender.
I have yet to find a tastier meal at this price point! The place is very small and unassuming, but the food and portion size are consistently terrific. I can warmly recommend the Pad Prik Khing. Also, their lunch options at under $10 are unbeatable for value.
One of the best meal I had in Vancouver downtown.. the curry was better then I have had in Thailand .. I had to go and compliment the chef for making such an amazing dishes.. mango sticky rice was just perfect..
The value of the food here were awesome! You should definitely try the Tom Ka Gai, so creamy and flavorful. Definitely will come back again
Visited the place for dinner, it is not a good place for dinning in as there are only three tables placed close to each other. It feels very compact and not very comfortable. The food was okay, we ordered spring rolls, masaman curry and pad thai. Spring rolls were too oily and had bad smell!!
I love this place so much. Go to spot for cheap and delicious Thai food. Always satisfies my cravings. So reasonably priced! My favorites are the swimming rama combo (below, only $12!) and the yellow curry.
Went there for take out and ordered the Red Curry, Pad Thai and a Tom Yum Soup. My hubby was happy with his choices but I found my red curry was disappointing. the Only veggies it had were squash. I have been to Thailand and eaten Thai food at numerous places in BC and never had a Red Curry with squash in it. Normally it is accompanied with pineapple, carrots etc. and that is why I love ordering it. The flavor was decent but I was disappointed in the contents.
Super quick friendly service, good prices. Pad Thai was a bit on the dry side, we added more lemon at home, but more sauce would be nice. Otherwise pretty good quality for pretty affordable price, quick and very convenient local place for takeout. Street parking nearby, couple of tables indoors separated by plexiglass. Will be ordering more. Even at busiest time of day the food was ready in 15 minutes.
I would post a before picture but the food was so good that we could not stop eating to take pictures. All the curries were excellent, the pad Thai was incredible and the chicken satay was perfect. We will absolutely be back for this awesome food.
