This place is an absolute must if you are a sushi person. While the price tag is definitely steep, it definitely feels like the value is there. Tetsu's smaller, more intimate atmosphere lends well to the overall experience. Wait staff were outstanding. 10/10 would recommend if you're a big fan of sushi and have the ability to get Omakase

Omakase was amazing! Servers are attentive and kind in explaining all the questions asked of them. We really enjoyed that there was a menu card to guide us through the variety of fish. The fish was fresh and had a diverse amount of flavours. I might have wished there was less shiso flavor in some of the dishes as I’m not particularly fond of it but the food all tasted amazing nonetheless. I think it was pretty worth the experience.

10/10 sushi! We ordered a la carte but will definitely come back for omakase next time.Everything we ordered was great. Fish is super fresh as you would expect. What really stood out for me was the sushi rice. That texture, seasoning, temperature, all perfect.

The 15-course omakase chef's menu was a once in a lifetime experience. Every dish was beautiful and perfectly flavoured. And it was paired with amazing service. They noticed I was left-handed and adjusted the order of the sushi on the plate accordingly. Enjoyed a bottle of sake as well. I tried an omakase menu in Kyoto and this one is the closest to matching it. I felt like I was back in Japan!

Food is amazing and service is great. We had the best sea urchin in a while. Chaman mushi is great with crab meat. Spot pawn is fresh and sweet. Everything goes well together and balanced with each other.

very nice quality, little pricey but worth the taste

$155 Omakase bar table service in Tetsu! The restaurant is tiny, so book your dinner in advance. And do expect a long time wait for the bar table. But it totally deserve it.

Visiting from seattle, better sushi and value than Shiro’s/kashiba! Especially loved the sushi rice, chyuutoro, and the 2 desserts(warabimochi+coffee pudding))
