Ordered chicken bowl online and this is by far the worst of the worst . So dry chicken and the coating makes 50% of the size of it.Barley any rice or greens. Just a small layer in between the pieces.. the are a “restaurant “ but not even street food has this bad quality !Avoid avoid, you can’t even eat itUpdate: As a business owner myself I gave the restaurant a call to talk to the manager, the manager jenny seemed to be more interested in getting off the phone and not hearing about it than listening and taking the feedback to help improve the businessCustomer service: 0Food quality: 0
Came here for lunch over the long weekend. It was not too busy, we chose to sit inside at one of the high top tables. Nice atmosphere and cute decor.I got the mango arbol margarita to drink, it was delicious, sweet with a little bit of a spicy kick! To eat I got the fish, eggplant and crispy oyster mushroom. The mushroom was my favourite out of the 3, the eggplant is a bit messy since it's one big chunk, probably would be better and easier to eat if cut into smaller pieces but the flavours were good. My boyfriend got the chicken and steak tacos. He did not really enjoy the steak taco, he said it was a little dry.If I ever visit Vancouver again I will definitely come back and also would like to try their burrito bar.
It was a terrible experience. First of all, they are very savage to new customers. They took my order in a hurry and said that I could eat at the entrance and not go to the restaurant. I went to see the place but it was a disappointment from the very beginning. I ordered Crispy Chicken Taco. All the chicken was pre-fried so it was cold and oily. When I asked them to change it, they changed it right away but it was still bad. You can hardly see the chicken, you are eating the overly greasy outer coating. I didn't want to do this evil to myself by eating even one small taco. The sauce they called bitter was not bitter either. In short, I feel like I wasted my money and time.
Place was a lil hard to find if you don't know where you're going and I definitely wouldn't want to find it in the dark.I had the fish taco (yummy) and a classic Margherita (it was ok, wish I'd tried the other fruity ones ) fortunately there was a Monday 'Marg' special that had 3$ off on all margs or I would've been quite unhappy paying 12.50 for a drink I didn't particularly likeBrother had 2 rounds of the pork al pastore which he loved and the quesa birria (lamb quesadilla) - I tried them as well and I can attest they were tasty. He also had 2 pints of one of their lagers on tap at 7.50 each .Our server was a delight and that really helped up the overall experience .Nice interiors, bathroom: strictly ok - I am not impressed - and I am very particular about that ! Especially if it smells clean or not . It didn't . Would've taken a star off for that but my brother loved the place so it stays on for his sake ?Good first experience.Might try one of their other locations.
The jalapeno margaritas and the cute outdoor seating area were the best part of the experience! I highly recommend coming during happy hour (I believe it's from 3:00pm to 6:00pm) for some good deals. For food, I just had the nachos, which were very unique and delicious. Definitely a great spot for a quick happy hour drink and bite!
We had a lunch time drink and bite to eat here and the food was fabulous. I had their speciality fish taco and we shared a huge plate of really good nachos. Cold beers, cocktails, fun atmosphere and a largely younger crowd. A really good little find in this city!
Having been a fan of their Tofino truck, I tried their Sit-down in Gastown. If you like the truck, the resto is just as good with more options. Crispy chicken taco was especially good - though maybe the crema could have had a bit more pop to it, but regardless, chicken was perfect. Tortilla soup, also very well crafted and delicious. Sat at the bar, service was quick and efficient.
Awesome food, amazing service , good prices
Ate here on first night in city as wanted something quick to eat and not too heavy. Really nice vibe in restaurant and had a lovely waiter who took the time to explain the menu and advised that 2 tacos was a good meal for one. I chose the fish taco and the chorizo one. Both very different in flavour combinations but both very tasty and the fish in the fish taco was especially well cooked. Overall a very nice dining experience at a reasonable price for the city. Would recommend.
The best fish tacos ever! We needed to order like 4 tacos each. Crispy fish, tasty coleslaw, and delicious salsa verde. The drinks are amazing! Had a few margaritas. These tacos are to-die for. I can’t find anything else like this in Vancouver. The ambiance is great as well! Has its own style.
