Fantastic view of ocean, delicious food and great service!
Amazing location! We stayed here one night while in Vancouver - we choose this hotel because of the history and bring right near the ocean and Stanley park.The room was comfortable and quiet. Staff where very friendly and helpful with recommendations.Can't wait to stay here again on our next trip

The front end staff and management give outstanding customer service. The rooms are immaculately maintained and the housekeeping staff are very courteous. Restaurant food is always delicious. Eggs bennie top choice.
Really nice little boutique hotel. Large room with a comfortable king bed and nice sitting area. Very convenient West End location. Only downside is very spotty and slow internet.
Flew this time so luggage was a struggle but the Sylvia was very accommodating with storage and an early check in. Fantastic staff, beautiful location. Slightly seedy room (time for a little reno? These elegant bones deserve better than ceiling tiles.) Still, one of my favorites.
We just had the nicest possible visit to the "grand old hotel at English Bay". Whomever was in charge of upgrading & renovating the hotel did a really great job of striking that delicate balance between incorporating modern features without losing the historical charm of the place. Couple that with a friendly, competent staff and we have a new "go to" hotel for our visits to Vancouver.
Excellent meals and very cheerful service with a great view of the beach and the ocean. Not gourmet but good solid comfort food. We had two dinners and between us ate crab cakes, fish and chips, chicken pot pie and Cobb salad. Everything was excellent. Reasonable prices for food and wine
Excellent location! Reasonable prices. Pet friendly. Highly recommend this hotel. Directly located across the street from English Bay and a small walk to the sea wall and water taxis to Granville Island.
