Don't eat here...ordered one roll, three nigiri, some sashimi, and a Wakame salad. Couldn't eat the salad, it had gone off and now I can't leave the house as I'm sick from what I did eat. So sad, I love sushi..and now I can't even imagine ever eating it again. The staff are sweet and the service quick, but something in my order has made me quite sick.
Super disappointed in the sashimi. Got tuna and salmon sashimi and they were so thin that sushivan's 12 pieces would make 4 pieces elsewhere. Do not waste your money on sashimi here. Otherwise the sushi is ok for the price here, but nothing exquisite or spectacular. I pretty much have already ordered every roll on the menu, and they all taste the same with subtle difference. If you dine to impress or are looking for good quality sushi, go somewhere else.
DO NOT EVER ORDER HERE AT ALL. The waitress took my order wrong and charged me twice as the price and instead of giving back the money she said oh I am sorry( she doesn’t understand what the customer sys). No English with the lowest IQ staff. I wouldn’t Never go back again and I don’t recommend to go back. The quality of food is not good at all in compare with other sushi houses.

Our favourite local place for sushi, lunch, and dinner. Aways tasty and good portion size for a decent price. There are several kinds of raw fish you can order apart from regular salmon or tuna: scallop, unagi, toro, etc. They also have a lot of interesting rolls you cant get anywhere else, like sushi pizza or crazy boys roll, and nude boy roll, love love roll. Gyoza are good as well. Beef udon is regular with thick noodles.We have tried their delivery on uber eats as well, and it was very fast and of consistent quality.The place is nice and small, right beside a bus stop. There is also a table near the fake fireplace, which is cozy. Music is not loud.
Any sushi place that uses trimmings in their rolls gets an automatic review from me. If you like your salmon rolls with a 70:30 fat-to-meat ratio, then this is the place for you. Their portions are tiny and the quality is mediocre at best.
I have been trying to support local business during the pandemic. However, the experience with this restaurant was obviously a nightmare. I have placed an order of a teriyaki beef with adding an additional chicken for my takeout lunch yesterday. The server who took my order via phone initially told me it would be ready any minutes. After twenty minutes later, I was in the restaurant to pick up my lunch and was told they didn’t make it as they couldn’t add an additional chicken with teriyaki beef? I questioned them why they didn’t tell me at the first place when I was placing the order… the servers looked each other without apology. In the end, I couldn’t have my lunch ordered from Sushivan, and I’m so disappointed. This would be the last time to order meals from Sushivan restaurant. Poor customer service :(
All the food is delicious. Amazing and friendly service. They bring you hot bottomless tea when you dine in, perfect on a cold day.
Always so delicious and very reasonably priced. $2 California rolls. The tempura rolls are especially tasty!
The GM Benny is very nice and kind.He's accommodating each time for my customized orders. Worth to try.
