Remarkable experience! Each item in the omakase menu was masterfully presented to us by the chef, no details spared. After trying a fair amount of sushi bar in Vancouver, this is by far the best in terms of quality, consistency and authenticity. Service is good; the chef made it comfortable and did not impose with strict rules. Suitable for special occasions, or just a cozy night out.
Everything was perfect, food amazing and the amount of detail of each sushi is something that you don’t see in other omakase.
This is my first time having Omakase, and believe me, this experience in this restaurant is perfect. I strongly suggest people try Omakase in this place, and I bet it is worth every penny.First of all, for the parking, it is easy to park around this place. You can park on the street or in the parking lot close to this restaurant.Back to the food experience, the chef was amiable, and he explained even if I didn’t understand the fish or the seafood. Chef has a great passion for cooking, and you can taste it with the time he spends preparing. People can go in groups, and I suggest the couples go there for special occasions.Last but not least, for the food, the menu has 18 dishes, including appetizers, main dishes and dessert. I had the best sushi in this place.

I fear by writing this review I risk never being able to get a reservation again! Chef Jin and his wife Teri are the sweetest couple from Korea that provide an exceptional experience to their diners. Chef Jin is trained by some of the best sushi chefs in Japan and he provides inventive and unique omakase dishes, all delicious and crafted with care and detail. This was hands down the most memorable omakase meals I've had and that's stacking it up against Sushi Nakazawa in NYC, Sushi Kashiba in Seattle, Yui Edomae in Vegas and more. Chef Jin offered different types of fish you don't often get to try, loads of fresh and fatty toro and uni. With Covid the couple keeps the seating limited to 6 people with 2 seatings a night and while the ticket price is high, you get what you pay for and more. I look forward to making a monthly visit to this wonderful establishment.
Exceptional, Sushi Jin offers a comfortable luxury experience driven by the chefs skill, creativity and appreciation toward quality ingredients. Every aspect of the meal is taken into consideration to allow each ingredients nature to shine. The meal is elevated further by the chefs thoughtful combinations that create delicious and unique tastes and textures. Sushi Jin is an overall outstanding experience a touch above the rest.
I've had omakase in many parts of the world including Japan and this was truly the best experience I had. Chef Jin and his wife were exceptionally friendly yet professional. Even though I was dining alone, he made sure that I still received adequate attention and engaged in good convo.Now for the food. Just wow. Every dish was crafted with so much thought, and you can tell how he put all his experience and knowledge of seasonal ingredients into creating the menu.There were some truly unique dishes you don't find outside Japan, like shirako. Even for the nigiri, there were elements of creativity like fried truffle on ika (squid). Everything was exquisite and delightful to eat.It was truly an honor to dine with Chef Jin that night. Thank you for the incredible hospitality!
Our first omakase was incredible!! Exceptional chef, food, and service. The two hour dinner flew by and it was well worth the money. An amazing experience that we will not forget!
A very nice omakase place.Need to reserve to have your place. I was lucky to be able to get a spot from a cancelation.Food was pretty good and service was very nice too! I accidentally elevated the standard now and I can’t find something similar in montreal :(A small restaurant with a chef doing his thing.Have fun, careful, the fees can be steep.
Great omakase experience, everything was very tasty and complimented each other very well. Staff are friendly and attentive too and we appreciated that they accomoded us with a toddler. They don't have baby chair and we knew ahead of time. We traveled from Montreal and was recommended the place, definitely not a selection of fish that we can find were we are from!
