Came here to join some family later in the evening. We didn’t expect to order much, but based on the menu, we ended eating a full meal. Overall the experience was very positive. They’re certainly carving out their own path which is refreshing to see. Overall, I’d give them a 4.5 (if I could). I gave them a 5 in Google for the benefit of the doubt. A couple minor opportunities, but overall highly recommended! They did a great job with service, food, and drink and it would benefit you greatly to try them.

Highly recommend this restaurant, preferably go when hungry or with a few people so you get to try as many dishes as possible. The dishes are meant to be shared anyway.The drink menu is very creative and original. The creator/ bar tender is more than happy to explain and make recommendations or modifications.Every dish we tried was truly amazing, the flavours were balanced and did not need anything in addition. Im the type of person that always get hot sauce or some sort of other condiments. This must be the best restaurant in Vancouver, hands down. If there’s a better one, please point me to it, because I haven’t been there. We got 5 mains + dessert and everything was phenomenal and so original. You really can’t go wrong. The drinks are super original too (marrow infused brandy!). The staff is all very friendly. We sat at the bar and talked to the bartender and waiter plenty and they were both happy to answer all of our questions about the food. So much care goes into every dish, and they bring them out one by one so it was all spaced well. My husband and I actually think this is the best meal we’ve ever had and we’ve had a lot of meals together. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.
Small place so be sure to get your reservations in. They have amazing food. Literally top notch, as well as a cocktail experience like non other. If you like out of the ordinary this is the place. Highly recommend.
Went in here randomly, wow. Get in there, turn off your phone and enjoy the food. I had a lamb neck which made me rethink what the word delicious meant to me....incredible.
We attended this restuarant by recommendation of a friend and were not disappointed! The subtle decor and cosy tables in this candlelit gem set the perfect mood for a little indulgence. It quite reminded us of the great high end restaurants you find on the trendy Kloof street back home in Cape Town. Both the mocktails and cocktails were delicious and it was a hard task to pick our favourite dish of the night! The service was smooth and we were really left feeling comfortable to slowly graze our way through the sublime menu. Top recommendations have to be the bone marrow, rabbit gnocci and hoof, wing & fin mille feuille (a total game changer)! I cannot wait to return to this fantastic find!
Tapas style restaurant in a non traditional sense. Menu is eclectic and interesting with off cuts and unconventional ingredients. If you're feeling adventurous this is the restaurant for you. Highly recommend. We had the whole menu and left satisfied and looking forward to our next time there. Drink list also very interesting. Recommend.
This is a hidden gem in the east side of Vancouver. We went to try the restaurant tonight based on the many great reviews and a very interesting and intriguing menu! Most of the dishes we tried were great such as bone marrow, street corn gnocchi and beef heart tartare. The miile feuille (with chicken liver mousse, fish sauce caramel and duck fat sugar) and eggplant paremesan were good too. The one plate we thought we'd have enjoyed was octopus carpaccio but it turned out to be somewhat underwhelming. But overall it's a a very good restaurant for those who are adventurous and enjoy to share a fun night with some unique foods and drinks!
