The food was delicious! If you looking for French food out of France it the place !

Wife and I went here for a nice dinner together and are very glad we did. The food and drinks were amazing - try the not-so-simple gin and tonics - and the staff was one of the most helpful I have ever seen.

This gem of a restaurant is hard to get into but WELL WORTH it. Visiting Vancouver in July 2022, we were able to secure seats at the Chef's Counter. Started with the escargo which was served Escargots à l’ail en bouchées de la Reine aka Snails with a garlic and parsley butter & puff pastry. Beautiful and delicious! Followed by Lapin à la moutarde aka Rabbit in mustard sauce with gnocchi à la Parisienne, carrots and gem lettuce. Also delectable. Dessert: Tarte au sirop d'érable aka Maple tart, milk foam & spruce Wonderful As I said before If you can get a reservation DON'T MISS IT! Can't wait to go back.

Amazing! Our best meal in Vancouver!

Fantastic food with impeccable service. Wide variety of drinks and a large collection of French wines. It's a small intimate space, reminiscent of classic European restaurants with conversations filling the air. Don't expect a stuffy quiet environment.

Such a special place. The attention to detail is incredible, and the thought and care put into every dish is why every plate comes out looking and (most importantly) tasting amazing. I always order whatever my server recommends, and it's never disappointed. A bar stocked with only French spirits (with the exception of some rare Japanese whiskies as an homage to the origins of the neighbourhood) makes for inventive twists on some classic drinks. If you like to see the action, highly recommend sitting at the bar where you have a great view of the kitchen and of course the bar.

We had an amazing experience at St. Lawrence. The service was impeccable and each of the dishes that came out worked well with each other. The lamb shoulder was interesting but my favorite dishes were the bison tartar and flan foie gras. They did a great job and I would definitely go again.

Full disclosure: this is my favourite restaurant in Vancouver and we have been many times but I have just never got around to a review. The restaurant is located in an ‘interesting’ part of town but this is not a problem. The locals won’t bother you if you don’t bother them. The restaurant is in a vintage hotel space and evokes the feeling of being in a bistro in Montreal. The staff are amazing. All are friendly and welcoming and their level of attention to your preferences is great. The second time we returned David remembered the kind of cocktails and wine we preferred and had recommendations for us that were (and continue to be) spot on. The food is amazing. Upscale French and French Canadian comfort food. The following are our favourites; - fried pork rinds with maple syrup - Bison tartar - Chou party with duck liver mousse - pork chop with okra cheese and robuchon potatoes purée Deserts are amazing and the experience isn’t complete without a digestif. Be sure to buy some of there proprietary salt and spice mixes

Fantastic meal and service! My first time at St. Lawrence and it definitely lived up to my expectations. Great atmosphere and ambience, relaxed service (in a great way) and all the dishes were fantastic. We had the pork rinds to nibble on whilst we had our first drinks, then starters of bison tartar, cod quenelle and the trout. Mains were bouillabaisse, rabbit and pork chop. To finish rice pudding and lemon tart. Everything tasted great. It was a very very good evening. Look forward to dining there again.

This year we have averaged coming here monthly. We love their changing menu to sample so many of their wonderful fixed price 3 course menu which you can also add on too. The pork chop always great and lamb shoulder we had for the first time last night are exceptionally top notch. Wonderful service and wide selection of wine to choose to compliment your meal. Cozy casual environment. Lots of pay street parking available.
