I ordered the Butter Chicken, and my friend ordered a Chicken Masala. Both dishes were great, but my personal preference would be the Chicken Masala. The metal bowls were heated with a candle underneath to keep it warm, which was a nice touch. They however did not come with rice, which we needed to order separately for $5 per portion. Keep this in mind when ordering! All in all, would recommend to others.
The service was great as always, the only thing I didnât like much was bharta. It is a dish that I usually like and Spicy six used to make delicious! i think they changed the chef or the recipe, the meal was totally different than usual . the aubergines did not look smoked and mashedâ¦there were small pieces of aubergines that did not bond well with the sauce.
My favourite Indian restaurant and canât go wrong with anything!
Food is delicious and very fast, it's almost on your table before you even ordered! Service very good and polite. Price also very reasonable for Robson St.The prawns vindaloo are a must try and their naans are amazing!
I love spicy and hot food, this is the place for enjoy a outstanding Lamb Vindaloo, great job
Ordered via Doordash, very disappointed over high prices and such small portions. Food is not so delicious to charge such prices. I understand its fine dining but shouldn’t charge those rates to takeout menu. Also not to mention they use too much food colour and no Indian spices, thus no flavour.
Don't be put out by the entrance. The food is lovely with generous portions and great service
One dish was okay but the mattar paneer was not cooked and when I mentioned it to the manager her reply was âoh all the restaurants have same typeâ like she thinks itâs my first time eating out or something? I really think we made a mistake by going in that restaurant. Never going back.
On a whim I decided to have something vegetarian for dinner. I ordered one of their meals that included rice, naan, and a curry of choice. What I expected to get for $18 was a good mix of fresh vegetables. What I actually got was frozen vegetable medley, which I recognized immediately from cut, size, and variety. I felt so disappointed and that I overpaid for a low quality dish. It was called Nauratan Korma. Don't order it. You're better off visiting the green giant at your favourite frozen aisle.
Absolutely fantastic food! Prices are more than reasonable and portions very generous. Staff is polite and pleasant. It’s a hidden gem.
