Friendly service and excellent food
Perfect crust on the pizza and the pasta was perfection.Patio table is annoying as the tables are all on a slant … as well as the seating. It’s nice to sit outside and watch the people walk by. Service was fast a friendly and the washrooms are really fancy.I’m going back for sure.
Amazing food! The wood-fire Neapolitan Pizza and Fresh in-house made pastas!!! The service took it over the top!! Will be back again and will recommend!
Have come to dine in for dinner on more than a few occasion. Usually been either a Friday or Saturday evening. Recently visited for a Sunday evening dinner. Naturally, the Fri/Sat crowd makes the restaurant feel more lively.Food: It’s like a carb lovers heaven. The portions and pastas are great. The tartufo is a must order if you love the smell and taste of truffles. Their pizzas are also thin crust (crunchy) wood fired oven made to order and taste phenomenal. My go to is the Salsiccia and it comes with a nice chili oil to bring some heat should you chose. The Tiramisu is well balanced and not too sweet and a great way to finish off the evening meal.Drinks: Though I did not get any cocktails this last visit, in the past I do recall them being crafted fairly well and would recommend.Service in the past has been fairly decent. The server from Sunday was okay though and seemed annoyed at times that our table wasn’t quite ready to order. The main restaurant host (guy) also projects an uninviting vibe as he checks you in (vaccine passport requirements) either that or just very indifferent.Covid-19: For those that are still uneasy, the restaurant does not require masks for patrons and staff are also not required to wear masks.
Amazing food and great service!
Great spot for happy hour from 4-5pm, they have a heated patio, very nice for a sunny winter day. Pizza is so yummy, meat ball is on the saltier side but I think it’ll go well with pasta.
A great location for a modern Italian restaurant with a wood fire oven! The space is clean and open and aromatic. On Sundays they have live piano music with a pianist named Bruno. The low star ratings is due to the fact that I am a little disappointed in their food.We ordered a focaccia but it was more like pizza crust in that it was thin, very hard and chewy instead of thick and soft. Usually focaccia is a dimpled, soft bread with Italian seasonings, similar to pizza bread. We also ordered the pizza and it had what seemed like the same bread base as the "focaccia". /:The tagliatelle ragu is a little bland. The eggplant and homemade sausage Margarita Pizza wasn't that good... The eggplant didn't lend any interesting depth or flavor. I wish the sausage was more spiced!I tried the chili oil and it's not spicy, just oil, to me.The best dish was the truffled mushroom pasta.
I love this place. We have been three times now (we are new to the neighbourhood) and it is our favorite. Atmosphere is lovely and staff wonderful. But the food, oh the food..... big sigh. So good. The choice of pasta isn't huge. Maybe around 8 (not sure) but each one is just done perfectly. Was set on pizza last night however the daily special was lasanga which is not normally on their menu, so went for the lasanga with the homemade noodles. It was amazing - very filling, I will be eating my leftovers the next two days). And the pizza, just out of this world. The crust is just perfect. We would highly recommend.
The ambiance, portions and quality of food were great. The happy hour menu is also nice is you want to stop by between 4-5PM or after 9PM.The only issue We had was that there was a hair in our food. Of course they promptly replaced the dish but it put a pretty significant damper on the whole evening.
