The 9 dessert platter is a great way to try an assortment of delicious desserts: red bean soup, cashew paste/pudding, tofu pudding, sesame paste, green bean soup, black glutinous dessert, walnut paste/pudding, almond paste, and mini peanut sticky balls. It's super filling so make sure you share with at least four people haha! The only downside is that the sweetness cannot be adjusted. I found some of the desserts too sweet.

This place is just flat out creative. The desert ain't bad but it's the gimmick that really impressed me.Mahjong dessert - it's made with coconut pudding and it taste great, but just the idea was extraordinary. Yes, I paid too much for that dessert but it's worth it.The vita soy milk red bean ice is such a creative ideas and taste great too! Some of the dessert is not much different than others but the creativity stands out and make it very entertaining.I do think you need to be from HK and experienced the 70s and 80s to appreciate it though.

HK style desert place, famous of their platter include 9 kind of desert combination, good for more 4-6 people to try. Warm service, waiters very patient explaining the dishes, they also has created a web page for the platter so you can easily check out for the flavors. Generally good experience, will come to try other deserts next time.

Great service, and delicious desert. The imitation shark fin is very very good, just like night market. The mahjong tiles are cool looking and worth trying once. Keep in mind, the prices are definitely high for the quantity you get.

Just finished lovely family dinner at the Chinese restaurant at Marpole , my sisters told me there is a lovely Chines dessert place few mins walk from here , No ifs but about it ! I am a meat guy ! I hate sweet ! but I go along to keep every one happy , very small place but clean , very interesting ! they only open 7 pm to 12 am , Monday to Thursday , 3pm to 12 am on Fri , Sat , Sun , very creative amazing 50's 60's Hong Kong traditional street dessert (one or two cents for any items ) that very bring me back the memory lane , every thing you see is edible , their signature Mahjong tiles and the US Canadian $100 bill very creative , taste not too sweet , also spicy fish balls to Fish siu mai , rice rolls and the imitation Fia soup , I all way give my truth value reviews good or bad , every one have their own liking , my taste buds agree with me not worth the overhyped , and price , very expensive with the quality we had to night , it is so so , the red and green bean soup very watery , curry fish bell too spicy and a lot of MSG ! but the black paste is very flavourful , minimum $6 per person , it is a nice novelty place to try , but totally different them North America Dessert restaurants ! for me once is enough ! almost $100 for four of us ! my sisters love every bite , I think it is more for the old generation , the young hip crowd love order the cool drinks and snakes ! over all I been and I try ! if I do come back ,I will just order the rice roll . staff very helpful and friendly . cash only .

Interesting place for sure. Had the peanut balls and the mango trio. I enjoyed both these items, the peanut one more so. Mango trio had grapefruit, tapioca and mango ice cream on the side. Out of these I enjoyed the ice cream the most. Easy to order items through QR code that leads to their website with your table number. Not a bad place to enjoy a sweet asian treat, I would recommend it.

The mahjong pudding is very overpriced and tasted just ok. The fake money was disgusting even thought it was edible, it was never meant to be eaten and they should not advertised so. Also ordered the double skinned milk which was tasty. Overall decent food but pricey due to social media hype.

Avoid the mahjong pudding! Items are over priced . Came for the special mahjong coconut pudding set, CAPITAL disappointed. For $22+tax , you’ll get 13 bottle cap size coconut pudding with artificial food colouring and two “edible” dollar bill. You have got to be a FOOL to pay $22 for 13 okay tasting coconut puddings. And the “edible” dollar bill, looks nice but they aren’t made to be eaten. Would not come again. It’s not a terrible place just you have other better options.

Hits the spot if you have a sweet craving! My favourite is the mango sago. I also tried the taro one, it was okay. Mango one tastes better. The milk tea is really good as well, but just a warning that it’s really strong. It’ll keep you up all night haha the tofu pudding was good as well. -1 star for meh service. It’s also great that it’s only one of the few desert places that opens till late!Edit: service improved. The tall guy was really friendly!
