There was larva casings in my soup, disgusting restaurant. The restroom was also quite disgusting, and upon my glimpse into the kitchen, I saw a worker coughing while preparing food, and just coughed right onto what he was preparing.I'd avoid this rats nest.
This is a great restaurant. We came in for dinner and they sat us right away. Staff and servers were very nice and efficient. We ordered the hummus to start and it was very tasty. Freshly made and very good. A glass of red wine before our meal. Then we got the entrees and there was plenty of food. I got the salmon and it tasted great. Did not know how good it would be. A cornucopia of flavors. My wife ordered the pork souvlaki and liked it but said that next time she will order the chicken instead. We had a great meal and our server was great and helpful. We will definitely will return. Right now we are enjoying our leftovers. Good restaurant, good food, good staff.
This place used to be really good but has obviously gone way down hill. The service was good but the portion sizes are greatly reduced. A small souvlaki comes with pita bread but no potato or rice? The large size doesn't include pita bread? Many other Greek restaurants to try. Too bad.
Unfortunately the food was quite bland and under seasoned. It also took very long to arrive (40 minutes to get the first appetizier, then another 10 for another appetizer, then 20 after that to get the entrées). Would not recommend.
My family has been enjoying Simpatico restaurant since we first discovered it 12+ years ago. Tonight we hosted our staff Christmas party there for 18 people. The food was as excellent as always - we've never been disappointed. The service was on point. The price was fair. And the ambience manages to capture a perfect balance between upscale yet relaxed. Kudos to Marino and his team. One of our perennial favourites!
Absolutely terrible. Dry old lamb, sour cucumbers, no seasoning, hilarious "Italian" salad with iceberg lettuce, they cooked the Saganaki on only one side so it was rubbery on the inside, the olive oil they brought out was almost as clear as water. There is one star here only because it can't go lower. Avoid at all costs, go to Maria's a block down, it is way better and the owner isn't even Greek! If I was Greek I would be ashamed to cook food like what I was served today at those prices. It's no surprise we were the only people in the restaurant at dinner time on Sunday night.
Best hearty pizza in the city! And their saganaki is full of flavour they must actually use authentic greek goats milk cheese!
