They serve soft bread in the shape of a bagel. It didn’t have a real bagel’s firm, chewy, crusty texture. I made the mistake of ordering mine with tomato and egg, imagining the egg would fried. It was nuked. No salt or pepper on offer. I don’t understand why so many people line up for this.

I absolutely love bagels, but this was a huge disappointment… I passed this place by many times and there was always a line, I thought well tastes good, it must be good. I finally got a chance to try those bagels a couple of days ago. I ordered one morning bagel and a half dozen to go. The morning bagel suppose to have salami but it looked and tasted more like bologna. But what got me most disappointed is how hard they were! Is it supposed to be like that? I don’t know but I definitely didn’t enjoy it, my jaw still hurts. They are not cut, and as they were so hard it was quite difficult and dangerous to cut. Also the taste was very plain, like no salt was added. Sadly I will have to stick with just supermarket bagels.

A delicious Kits staple. I love Montreal style bagels and these guys just kept slinging them out during the pandemic to the hungry masses. Their sandwiches are delicious too but I usually grab a dozen of the day olds and save a few bucks. They last for quite a while. Extra bonus points for 24 hours as you can grab a bagel if the hunger strikes at all hours.

If you’re going to visit this place for a bagel sandwich, you MUST have the smoked meat sandwich! No question! This place has been high on my list after I had some smoked meat in Montreal and been craving ever since. Finally had the chance to visit and 100% recommend. I chose the rosemary rock salt bagel with the smoked meat as recommended by staff! Yumm!!

As always the bagels were excellent!!!Unfortunately it was very slow. I wanted a half dozen bagels and a heated meat filled bagel (only prep is reheating). In the past I have always had my order filled at the cash so it takes about 1 minute. This time they put the order in the prep food queue. It took 20 minutes to get and about 3 sandwich orders after mine were filled before mine. I will think twice about a quick stop to get bagels for home. But if I have time to wait I will always stop.

Walking home last night from my dinner I stumbled across this place that apparently makes the best bagels in town. Well, that was definitely true. The bagels are fired in a wood burning oven and there’s so many to choose from. Incredible variety and they tasted amazing. Such a busy place too. I will be returning here

Every year When I travel to Vancouver, I buy a dozen bagels to take home. Yesterday I was truly disappointed, as my favourite bagel has a complete different composition and taste. What happened to the original recipe, the chewy Montreal style bagel you used to make. These bagels are like any other bagel you can buy in the store. Truly disappointed.

Went today after working almost 9 hours at Kits Beach. Ordered a half dozen bagels with some creme cheese's. Ordered only one for most but got 2 of the rosemary rock salt bagels. When I got home I looked in the bag to find 2 sesame seed bagels (which I didn't even order 1 of to begin with), which made me a bit unset as I was really looking forward to the rosemary one.Bagels still were great, but definitely check your bag before leaving to ensure you got the correct ones.

Siegel’s Bagels started since 1990 in Vancouver by French-Canadian founders coming from Montreal.✅ Bakery side, they are good at what they do. You’ll love their breads as its their specialty.❗️Sandwich side, I didn’t like the taste of the sandwiches as the taste of the sandwiches was not good. It’s like you are eating two complete different things at the same time in each sandwich. The taste of sandwiches is not consistent, imo.

Ive lived in vancouver my entire life and this is the first time ive tried this place. Not being a big bagel fan, i was more interested in the smoke meat sandwich which was... okay. Meat portion is good, but at 15 bucks its a bit bland. Maybe my expectations are too high, thinking its like Katz Deli in NY, but its just OK.The wife tried a blueberry and cream cheese bagel which i had a bite and that was alright. But its just a bagel, i really cant tell the difference between their blueberry bagel and costco's blueberry bagel.
