Great food. Fresh fish. Daily specials are imported from Japan. Staff are friendly. They don't take reservations and this place is busy so try to show up at opening

a lot of things were unfortunately sold out but what we got was very good and better than some bigger sushi restaurants we’ve tried. great quality fish, small place, would recommend. chopped scallop is best.

I ordered out and it took me 30 minutes to get home. This is normal when i order out. I dont know what it might have tasted like if i had eaten in, however when i got home it was dry dry dry. The gyoza was overcooked. They also packed 2 rolls in 1 container and the unagi roll bled sauce all over the bc roll. Im not even sure if it was a bc roll. I wont be going back, which is too bad because the lady at the door taking orders was awesome.

Heard a lot of good things about this place. Let me just say the sushi is great quality and is pretty authentic. However, there was large pieces of clear plastic inside one of the negitoro rolls. Crazy and dangerous. Lost my appetite after that. Already reported via Uber eats under food safety issues.I really wanted to like this place since the food tasted ok, but don’t think I’ll order from here again after that experience. I hope the chefs at Shiro takes more care into preparing their food to ensure something like this doesn’t happen to another customer. What a shame.

Love their sushi here. A bit pricey but definitely worth it if you’re looking for a level above sushi mura / garden

One of the best sushi spots in Vancouver! Something about their rice and super fresh fish is so good. This place never disappoints!

We're really spoiled here in Vancouver by the sheer number of Japanese restaurants, but this local favourite has earned its status as well... as a local favourite! The Alaska roll is consistently good, along with the spicy tuna roll. No, these aren't bargain basement prices, but they're not gonna break the bank either if you're a regular. Currently credit and debit only, which for me, is a welcome change from the cash only places. One of the best in the neighbourhoodood for sure!

I am a bit disappointed with the “high quality of the food” that I saw on the reviews.Food is good but over price for the quality of the food, at least for my order. There is a patio which is nice to hang out.

Excellent and unique menu. Friendly staff.

Japanese courtesy and quality. One of my two favorite spots in Vancouver
