Seasons is amazing!! Favourite bakery and cafe on/off the Drive. Chris and Melanie (sorry if I botched the spelling) are awesome!
The best croissants in the city! Honestly I have been on a "perfect" croissant search & these fit the bill 100%, highly recommend ?
Highly recommend the Candied Seed Country Loaf. The crust is not super hard, baked to perfection. The middle is soft and filled with seeds in every bite.
I really liked this place, but in recent months, it feels like quality has gone down a bit. Croissant used to be huge and flakey, some of my favorite in town, but lately they seem smaller and more bread like... also seems like they are often day old. Recently a macaron I bought had whip cream that had soured and tasted off. I'm hoping it's just a one off as I've usually been happy about them.
The double baked matcha croissant is incredible! I will return to try more baked goods.
Our go to please every week for Saturday croissants. Never disappoints
I ordered from Uber Eats and was expecting Beta 5 size as I paid $4-5/piece. When I just checked their website for this review, I realized that all Uber Eats menu are 30% more expensive than their regular price. Their prices from the website makes sense, but not on Uber Eats. I do get it. Uber eats take a lot of commission or whatsoever fees but from customers perspectives, 30% markup is way too overpriced.I also ordered brownies which was dissapointing as well. There were 12 pieces but literally a tiny one-bite size for $13.50 from Uber Eats which was not worth its price (it's $10 from the store, so it's 35% markup). It's like 2 pieces size - what you usually get from other stores. Nothing special with the taste.... I do not like when its quality cannot justify its price, and from this experience I do not think I would want to visit here.
First time here today! Tried the Montblanc cream puff. My sister tried the London Fog cream puff. Very delicious! Service was very friendly, thanks for making my espresso con panna :)I give four stars though because there's no seating area, which would be nice to have right outside the cafe. However, we headed to Clark Park which is very near and it's a lovely, relaxing place with tons of trees that provide enough shade.
Had the london fog cream puff. Great texture and flavour (of flake and filling)!!Lychee seasonal black iced tea (fr. Rose water) was good, and true to taste...and I'm not one to consider my taste buds very discerning. However, the drink lends itself a bit too much to the bitter side, imo.Accommodating and down-to-earth staff. No seating:(A bit pricey (5.45 for the tea, almost 4 for the puff), but I'm curious to try more!Worth checking out!
Matcha is my favorite flavor, but unfortunately the matcha croissant here was not good. But the other breads are delicious, so when I came back later to buy it, I took a picture of the store and the breads for Instagram, but the staff told me not to take pictures, so I couldn't introduce it on Instagram or anyone. I don't think I'll go back.
