Amazing espresso at this shop in #yaletown. The staff are very friendly and nice. A great outdoor seating area under a tent at the Roundhouse to enjoy your espresso or a snack.
I normally eat at their other location. And was shocked that there is such a difference in quality.After waiting an hour and 15 minutes for my food to be delivered. Which was still hot so you know it wasnt the driver. The sandwich I ordered, which I have had many times was soggy, tasteless and I couldn't finish it.The app I ordered through was only able to give a partial refund. Which they shouldn't have to. This location is not good. Waste of my time and money and now I have to eat something else so its a waste of food too.Their other location further downtown is much better. Go there if you have the ability.
Nice and spacious cafe to sit for a bit. Prices are reasonable as with the quality.
This coffee shop is often quite busy. I’d say this is the busiest out of the 3 Sciué locations I have been to. Thankfully, they have some heated patio seating outside to accommodate more customers! When we go here, we frequently grab a latte or specialty drinks, but they do also offer some great Roman style pizzas, sandwiches and pastries. If you’re looking to grab a beer, they have that too!Staff is usually quite friendly but most of the time, I feel they can be quite overwhelmed with guests so the dining area doesn’t always get turned over quickly. Bring some patience when you go as there may be a wait. You can tell the staff is working hard, just got a lot of orders on the go! :)
Had a bad experience with picking up items ordered through an app, came around closing time to pick up the surprised bag, the lady(Italian accent) there wasn’t treating the the other female employee very respectfully regarding the to go packing, at pick up she’s giving the empression of we’re a second class customer, just because the order went through an online app perhaps, overall customer service wise need an improvement and also manners towards associates perhaps.Items ordered not at the payment value, won’t recommend people to order through TooGoodToGo, we had two cold slices of pizza and muffin from the morning. Very very bad pick up experience and will not recommend anyone ordering it though TooGoodToGo.
I didn't realize this cafe serves brunch AND liquor!... And it has a great selection of brunch options, that are much more affordable than neighbouring restaurants. This place can get busy, as there aren't many seats inside due to safety protocols. There's an outdoor seating area, but on January 2, 2022 it was not heated due to the same safety protocols, so might be too cold to sit outside...get in early to get a spot inside.
Nice drinks, had a cappuccino and iced London fog. Service was a little lacking. Good overall.

Got their mocha tiramisu the decor is lovely . Which is just a mocha and a lady finger that you dipped inside your coffee. I just ate the cookie while sipping the mocha
