I recently engaged the services of Savoury Chef Foods to cater my brother's Celebration of Life. I could not be more pleased with the entire team. From the initial contact with Leigh with the arrangements and menu choices and their background coordination with the venue. To their final product and the team that fed us and the bartender that watered us. In the words of one of the attendees .. I want these guys catering my wake. Thank so much.

WARNING: Unprofessional services and poor qualityWe ordered two large dessert boxes for our school event after reading many positive reviews for Savoury Chef. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. Savoury Chef sent us two boxes of 40 desserts instead of the 46 pieces they had advertised on their website. 1 or 2 missing pieces might be understandable, but 12 missing pieces is unacceptable. They did not send us any macarons either, which were supposed to be included in the large dessert box. The labels on the boxes also said “small” instead of large, which made the situation even more confusing.After calling Christine about these problems, she gave us an insincere apology stating she’s “sorry that it wasn’t what we envisioned” and “the pastry chef checked the number of desserts before the box left the shop.” She basically blamed us for having high expectations for the food. Of course it wasn’t what we envisioned... It isn’t even what we ORDERED. Never did she admit the shop did anything wrong, despite them being at fault for the situation. The fact that Christine blamed the customer for the shop’s mistake is insulting and highly unprofessional.We are extremely disappointed in Savoury Chef’s services. The desserts were tiny and not worth the price. I can’t believe we paid over $260 for this horrible experience. Please stay away from this business!
I had an excellent experience with Savoury Foods right from the beginning planning the food choices with the staff to the very end with the courtesy and friendly delivery staff. The food was great and Leigh was the staff that helped me select canapes that worked with the guest's needs. She was really helpful with suggestions and very responsive with emails. I would definitely use Savory Chef again for future events. Very well run company that seem to care about your catering needs. Thank-you.

Our July 31, 2021 wedding, catered by Savoury Chef, went off without a hitch. The staff arrived on time, and were professional, organized and friendly throughout. The food was absolutely delicious - we needed more bread to wipe up the last dregs! The team left the home in the same condition they found it, and the entire experience with Savoury Chef allowed us to sit back, eat, drink and be merry with no worries. We highly recommend this professional team
We have used Savory Chef several times and they are always incredible! Christine gets back right away, puts together wonderful ideas and really listens to all our needs. The food is delicious, plentiful and beautifully presented. We never have to worry about the food being incredible when we get Savoury Chef. Thanks again for helping to make our so special!
